Play systems of the present disclosure comprise a children's ride-on vehicle and a companion track. The companion vehicle and track each include a guide surface that is complementary to the companion apparatus and configured to guide the vehicle along a path of travel defined by the track. The children's ride-on vehicle may be powered, steerable, and configured to operate on and off the track. When the children's ride-on vehicle is guided and/or steered along the path of travel, the complementary guide surfaces do not substantially impede progress of the vehicle. When the children's ride-on vehicle is guided and/or steered away from the path of travel, the complementary guide surfaces contact and/or frictionally engage to direct the vehicle along the path of travel and/or to slow progress of the vehicle.

Children's ride-on vehicles and play systems incorporating wheel and track assemblies

Children's ride-on vehicles are disclosed. In some embodiments, the vehicle may include first and second mechanical members, with the second mechanical member configured to move between a concealing position, in which the second mechanical member conceals a portion of the first mechanical member, and a revealing position, in which the second mechanical member does not conceal the portion of the first mechanical member. In some embodiments, a biasing member urges the second mechanical member toward the concealing position. In some embodiments, a user input device permits a child to lock the first mechanical member in one of a retracted position and an extended position.

A children's ride-on vehicle is disclosed. In some embodiments, the vehicle may include a body including at least one seat sized for a child; a plurality of wheels including at least one driven wheel; a battery-powered drive assembly configured to selectively drive the rotation of the at least one driven wheel; a mechanical assembly including a first mechanical member movably connected to the body and configured to move among a plurality of positions including a first position in which one or more portions of the first mechanical member are not visible, and a second position in which the one or more portions of the first mechanical member are visible; and at least one user input device positioned to receive inputs from a child sitting on the at least one seat, and configured to selectively move the first mechanical member between the first and second positions.

This solution to motion sickness is effective because the fluid in the inner ear no longer moves in relationship to the vehicle motion upon which the person is located. Additionally, the invention can be a table, a bed, or even an entire room that is isolated from the rolling, pitching and jolting imparted by the host vehicle. A stabilized platform is stabilized to compensate for motion caused by waves, currents, wind, and other motion during land, air, and sea operations of a camera. Although the stabilized platform is primarily described as useful for supporting a camera, the platform may be used to support other articles or persons. The stabilized platform includes a stabilizing system connecting a payload platform to a base. The stabilizing system including at least two motors for rotating the payload platform with respect to the base about two perpendicular axes of rotation providing the payload platform with stabilization in two dimensions. A control system stabilizes the platform based on information provided by a first sensor package or other location for sensing motion of the vehicle and a second sensor package on the platform. The use of the second sensor package allows the stabilized platform to be self correcting. A camera when mounted on the payload platform may be manually or remotely controlled.

A toy computer includes a keyboard housing and a monitor housing pivotally secured by a hinge coupler. A depressible keyboard unit is pivotally supported by the keyboard housing and is coupled to a movable slider within the interior of the keyboard housing. A return spring is coupled to the slider and is operative to pivot the slider such that a ratchet engaging tooth is raised to its engagement position in the absence of a keyboard unit stroke. An endless belt display utilizes a cylindrical lens element array together with a segmented image formed on the endless belt to provide apparent motion of the image as the endless belt is moved. A ratchet coupling system is coupled between the slider and the movable belt to provide incremental belt motions in response to each keyboard stroke.
