In one example embodiment, a method includes, inter alia, at a commercial entity subsystem, receiving, from an electronic device, device transaction data that includes credential data indicative of a payment credential on the electronic device for funding a transaction with a merchant subsystem, accessing a transaction identifier, deriving a transaction key based on transaction key data that includes the accessed transaction identifier, transmitting, to one of the merchant subsystem and the electronic device, merchant payment data that includes a first portion of the credential data and the accessed transaction identifier, and sharing, with a financial institution subsystem using the transaction key, commercial payment data that includes a second portion of the credential data that is different than the first portion of the credential data. Additional embodiments are also provided.

In some implementations, a mobile device can receive identification information for a merchant store location. The mobile device can obtain graphical user interface (GUI) configuration data for the merchant store location based on the store location identification information. For example, the mobile device can obtain GUI content that has been customized for the merchant store location. The mobile device can configure a GUI of an application installed on the mobile device based on the obtained GUI configuration data. The mobile device can make the proximity application accessible to a user of the mobile device when the mobile device is near the store location.

A system for providing first and second trusted applications diverse permission to communicate via a secure element. Systems and methods for providing trust provisioning are disclosed. A utilization request requesting to utilize data stored by a secure element associated with the device may be processed by a software application. In response to processing the utilization request, a registration request message for registering the software application may be communicated to a management server. A validation code may be received from the management server in reply to the registration request message. The received validation code may be verified to match a second validation code. Subsequent to successful verification, a passcode and an identifier of the secure element may be communicated to the management server. In response to communicating the passcode and the secure element identifier, an acknowledgement may be received from the management server specifying whether registration of the software application was successful.

System and method for initially establishing and periodically confirming trust in a software application

Disclosed are systems and methods for providing protection against alteration of data, such as a credential, associated with a transaction. A first communication is received from a requesting system. The first communication includes a credential and corresponds to an indication that an extended-duration task is being initiated and a request to listen to a status of the credential. A device-listening data store is updated to associate the credential with an identifier associated with the requesting system. When an event is detected that indicates that the credential has been modified or cancelled, the device-listening data store is queried based on the credential. In response to the query, the identifier associated with the requesting device is received. A second communication is generated that corresponds to an alert that identifies a status of the credential as having been modified or cancelled. The second communication is transmitted to the requesting system.

A system for using a dynamic temporary credential with a portable communication device for use in a transaction with an electronic control point (e.g. point of sale, NFC access point) wherein the portable communication device has a geo-location module (e.g. GPS). System and method for one-time payment authorization in a portable communication device

A system for providing an application associated with a portable communication device the ability to communicate via a secure element. The system has a digital identifier and digital token operably associated with the application; a card services module that provides an application programming interface to the secure element; and a secure data table associated with the card services module. The secure data table includes a list of trusted applications each identifiable by paired digital identifier and token. The card services module [includes] compares the identifier and the token with each of the identifier-token pairs in the table until a match indicates the application is trusted. The card services module issues commands to the secure element based on an action requested by a trusted application in conjunction with the presentation of the digital token. A method of providing an application with the ability to communicate via secure element is also disclosed.

A system for presentation of multiple NFC credentials via an NFC baseband in a portable communication device during a single NFC transaction. The system comprises a secure element having a directory of available NFC credentials stored therein, wherein the ordering of the available NFC credentials usually indicates the priority. The system further comprises a pre-determined multiple-credential start Application ID (AID) wherein the directory includes a plurality of NFC credentials after the pre-determined multiple-credential start AID. A method for presenting multiple NFC credentials during a single NFC transaction is also disclosed.
