A system that allows developers to designate transactions for an application to track and monitor the performance of their applications on various mobile devices. In some embodiments, each transaction is composed of multiple interactions across several different screens that interact with different services or functions. The transactions of some embodiments overlap or are nested within each other, so that multiple transactions are monitored simultaneously. In some embodiments, each transaction is assigned a value, allowing a developer to prioritize troubleshooting in an application, as well as quantifying the costs of various issues in the application. In some embodiments, the system includes a transaction agent is installed on various devices that identifies and monitors transactions in the system and a transaction server that receives transaction data from the mobile devices and processes the data to allow a developer to monitor the performance of the application.

A phaser valve for a piston and cylinder assembly helps to keep a pair of pistons in phase with each other. The phaser valve includes a poppet which is slidable between opposing seats of a valve housing. The poppet includes a head and a stem, both the head and the stem having concave portions which facilitate the flow of hydraulic fluid across the valve. The poppet head has two generally conical ends, so that the head makes a fluid-tight seal with a seat when the head is urged towards either seat. Due to its construction, the phaser valve may be built to fit within a very small space, while still allowing a substantial flow of fluid when the head is not in abutment with one of the seats.

A main stage in-line pressure control cartridge. The cartridge selectively controls flow in-line in the same direction. The cartridge is mounted inside a body and has a sliding control sleeve that can expose radial holes in the poppet to an open position and to seal the radial holes in a closed position. A retainer collar is located on the opposite end of the control sleeve. Flow is permitted in a direction from the control sleeve to the retainer collar. The body has a mating recess to accommodate a step in the retainer collar which prevents movement of the retainer collar towards the control sleeve. When fluid pressure is applied to the retainer collar in the direction of the control sleeve, the step in the retainer collar presses against the body thereby preventing the fluid pressure from moving the retainer collar.

A main stage in-line pressure control cartridge. The cartridge selectively controls flow in-line in the same direction as opposed to directing flow at a 90 degree angle like other cartridges. A tubular poppet can be mounted into a body and has a sliding control sleeve that can expose radial holes in the poppet to an open position and to seal the radial holes in a closed position. The cartridge can be configured in numerous ways in order to serve many functions, such as a pressure relief valve, a counterbalance valve, and a flow control valve. The cartridge can also be configured to allow or prevent reverse flow.

A stack or assembly of fluid, mechanical, and/or electrical components permits removal of some components for maintenance, without compromising the fluid integrity of the remainder of the assembly. A fastening bolt, attached to at least one fluid component, is screwed into a stacking bolt, attached to another fluid component, the bolts being screwed together inside the bore of an adapter plate. A resilient insert sits between the head of the stacking bolt and the bore. At least a portion of the bore has a continuous taper, such that the diameter of the bore decreases in the vicinity of the insert. The taper creates a reduced diameter hole on one surface of the adapter plate, thus preventing interference between fluid ports on an adjacent fluid component. The taper also prevents loss of the insert during transportation and storage, and prevents undesired extrusion of material of the insert when the components are fastened together.

Flange plates control the flow of fluid between fluid handling devices. In one embodiment, a sealing plate includes an O-ring and a structural support ring disposed within the O-ring. The support ring prevents the O-ring from being dislodged due to fluid pressure in the line. The support ring may have chamfers which aid in centering the O-ring. The support ring may also have a plurality of orifices allowing fluid flow between the interior of the support ring and the O-ring. In another embodiment, a blanking plate includes a domed portion, oriented in a direction towards the fluid being contained. The domed portion imparts strength to the blanking plate, allowing the plate to be made of a thinner piece of material. In another embodiment, an orifice plate includes a domed portion as described above, with an orifice located at the center of the dome. The invention also provides sealing plates which provide structural support for slip-in fluid modules, and which also have central bores which transition from one diameter to another, allowing fluid components having ports of differing diameters to be connected together.

A one-piece, flanged, fluid-flow connector for connecting tube, pipe, hose or the like to a port face includes a base having a flat port face on one end, and a connection piece fixed to and extending from the other end. At least four tabs extend from the base, the tabs having apertures for mounting the connector. The base includes a reinforcement portion that transitions continuously from a lesser thickness adjacent the tabs to a greater thickness adjacent to the connection piece. The connector makes it feasible to provide a one-piece, four-bolt connector which occupies substantially less space than a comparable connector of the prior art, but which handles at least the same fluid pressures.

A one-piece, flanged, fluid-flow connector for connecting tube, pipe, hose or the like to a port face includes a base having a flat port face on one end, and a connection piece fixed to and extending from the other end. A set of tabs extends from the base, the tabs having apertures for mounting the connector. The base includes a reinforcement portion that transitions continuously from a lesser thickness adjacent the tabs to a greater thickness adjacent to the connection piece. The connector makes it feasible to provide a one-piece, two-bolt connector which occupies substantially less space than a comparable connector of the prior art, but which handles at least the same fluid pressures.

A fluid flow connection comprising a threaded port for use with a nominal 74.degree. male conical tube fitting and pipe end connection is disclosed. The threaded port is made to have a truncated conical seal surface having an included angle that is slightly larger than the corresponding included angle of the seal surface of the male portion of the fluid flow connection.

A combination fluid flow port which can be used as both a full size threaded port and a full size flange port is provided with an annular ring constructed and arranged to fit closely within a counterbore in the end of a threaded hole in the port to provide a face aligned with and extending radially inwardly from the mating face of the port body for use in enclosing the O-ring seal of a flange type male half connected to the port.
