Electrical wiring trunking includes at least first and second cable running compartments extending parallel to each other in a general lengthwise direction of the trunking and separated from each other by a fixed insulative partition. The partition includes at least one communication opening between the first and second compartments. An electrical insulation box has a lateral wall with a lateral access opening mounted in the first compartment so that its lateral access opening coincides with the communication opening. The space inside the box forms an extension of the second compartment into the first compartment which is electrically insulated from the first compartment and receives an electrical accessory to be connected to electrical cables running in the second compartment.

An insulating gasket for preventing drafts from passing through a wall at the location of an electrical fixture. The gasket which has a plurality of overlapping removable cut-outs, such that the same gasket may engage with different fixtures depending on the area which is cut out. It also has removable side strips to allow it to fit in any position in a multi-gang fixture.

An open ended junction box for low voltage electrical circuits includes fittings on one open end of the box for attaching a wall plate to the box, and a cable retainer on the other open end of the box for retaining a low voltage electrical wire.

A package for an electrical floor box of the type adapted to be mounted in a sub-floor for receiving a wiring device to allow connection to an electrical circuit includes a cardboard container having a size sufficient to permit the floor box to be contained therein, a reclosable flap for allowing the cardboard container to be opened for receiving the floor box and closed to enclose the floor box in the cardboard container, and indicia on the surface of the cardboard container defining the perimeter of a portion of the box adapted, when separated from the remainder of the container and folded, to form a temporary cover for the floor box for at least partially closing the container.
