A method for data configuration is provided. The method comprises parsing a first cascading configuration associated with a data source and selecting content of the first cascading configuration to migrate to a data target. The selected content of the first cascading configuration is then migrated to a second cascading configuration, and the second cascading configuration is applied to the data target.

Embodiments of the present invention describe an approve for ledger synchronization. Embodiments monitor conversations for keywords, and responsive to detecting the keywords, recording at least a portion of the conversations that includes the keywords. Additionally, embodiments store recorded conversation, based on the at least portion of the conversations that include the keywords, in a database, detect changes to ledgers, and determine authorization records is absent on the ledgers for the changes. Furthermore, embodiments, determine at least one of the stored conversations includes authorization records associated with the detected changes, retrieve the determined at least one of stored conversations, and synchronize the ledgers by creating a new block to the ledgers indicating authorization for the new block based on the determined at least one of stored conversations.

Multi-ledger blockchain management

Embodiments of the present invention provide approaches (e.g., online methods) to analyze end-to-end performance issues in a multi-tier enterprise storage system (ESS), such as a storage cloud, where data may be distributed across multiple storage components. Specifically, performance and configuration data from different storage components (e.g., nodes) is collected and analyzed to identify nodes that are becoming (or may become) performance bottlenecks. In a typical embodiment, a set of components distributed among a set of tiers of an ESS is identified. For each component, a total capacity and a current load are determined. Based on these values, a utilization of each component is determined. Comparison of the utilization with a predetermined threshold and/or analysis of historical data allows one or more components causing a bottleneck to be identified.

Comprehensive bottleneck detection in a multi-tier enterprise storage system

The present invention proactively identifies hotspots in a cloud computing environment through cloud resource usage models that use workload parameters as inputs. In some embodiments the cloud resource usage models are based upon performance data from cloud resources and time series based workload trend models. Hotspots may occur and can be detected at any layer of the cloud computing environment, including the server, storage, and network level. In a typical embodiment, parameters for a workload are identified in the cloud computing environment and inputted into a cloud resource usage model. The model is run with the inputted workload parameters to identify potential hotspots, and resources are then provisioned for the workload so as to avoid these hotspots.

Proactive identification of hotspots in a cloud computing environment

Methods, apparatus and computer program products implement a chat proxy component and a chat wrapper component. The chat proxy component controls interactions with a chat application by external users. The chat proxy component receives chat requests from external users and initiates a chat session only if a user is validated as a valid user. User validation may be performed by a chat payment application that validates a user only if payment is received for chat services, or by an external user validation system that validates users as, for example, employees authorized to use the chat application. Once a chat session is established, chat operations are managed on a session-specific basis. The chat wrapper component manages communication between the chat proxy component and the chat application. The chat wrapper component also permits the user-facing chat application to be situated on a remote computer.
