The transmitter may be configured to transmit the audible signal, the inaudible signal, or both, to a first electronic device, a second electronic device, or both. The receiver may be configured to receive a first message that includes a first input and a second message that includes a second input. The processor may be configured to determine whether the first input matches the second input. The transmitter may be further configured to transmit the first message to the first service on a condition that the first input and the second input are determined to match.

Systems and methods are disclosed for emulating an environment created by the outputs of a plurality of devices. The system receives device control data for a device in a first venue. The control of the outputs of said devices according to the device control data creates an environment within the first venue. The system retrieves profile data for devices within a second venue. The system associates a device in the second venue with a device from the first venue, both devices having a similar output type. The system then generates control information adapted from the associated device of the first venue for the device in the second venue. The system controls the outputs of each device in the second plurality of devices according to the generated control information to emulate the environment within the first venue in the second venue.

Systems and methods for tracking the status of an anticipated dynamic event and displaying a corresponding notification icon on a media progress indicator. A media guidance application receives, from an application (e.g., Uber), a notification (e.g., 'Driver Found') during consumption of a media asset (e.g., “Fast and Furious”) and determines that an expected event without a fixed time of occurrence will happen (e.g., arrival of driver at user's location). The media guidance application determines an anticipated time of the expected event and generate a visual icon representing the expected event on the media asset's consumption progress indicator at the anticipated time relative to the consumption (e.g., 56-minute mark of the movie). As updated information (e.g., traffic, driver's route, etc.) is received, the media guidance application recalculates the anticipated time and shift the visual icon based on the new calculation.

A device may include a processor, a receiver, and a transmitter. The receiver may be configured to receive a content signal. The transmitter may be configured to transmit the content signal. The transmitter may be configured to transmit an associated inaudible signal. The content signal, the associated inaudible signal, or both, may be transmitted to one or more electronic devices. Each of the one or more electronic devices may be configured with audio interfaces. The receiver may be configured to receive a respective message from each of the one or more electronic devices. Each respective message may be based on the associated inaudible signal. Each respective message may include a respective electronic device identifier. The transmitter may be configured to transmit one of the respective messages.

Systems and methods for delivering multiple media assets for a plurality of users are disclosed herein. A plurality of users proximate to a display device may detected and split into groups based on preference for a specific media asset. Media assets may be generated on a display device in a layout based on the number of users in each group. When a new user enters the proximity of the display device the group membership may be recalculated and based on the new group memberships the display layout may be updated.

Systems and methods for interfacing with electronic devices using inaudible frequencies are disclosed. The method includes generating a query for output by a first device and transmitting an inaudible signal having an activation signal to activate a second device and context data for the query. A voice response to the query is captured and an action based on the voice response and the context data is performed. The method may include generating the query based on interactive subject matter.
