A vehicle is provided having at least one swing-out cooling assembly. A method of assembling the at least one swing-out cooling assembly on the vehicle is further provided.

Swing-out coolers and cooling fans

A work vehicle comprises a front frame, a rear frame, an oscillation frame, a slew bearing, and a rolling-element bearing. The slew bearing and the rolling-element bearing allow oscillation between the oscillation frame and the rear frame about a fore-aft axis.

Work vehicle oscillation system

An industrial loader includes a fan and radiator assembly mounted above the engine thereof. The assembly comprises a housing mounted on the loader main frame. A pair of radiator cores are located in opposite sides of the housing. A pair of fore-and-aft aligned, hydraulically driven fans are mounted in the housing and operate to draw cooling air in through the cores and discharge it vertically through the top of the housing.

Vehicle fan and radiator assembly

The accoustic noise suppression apparatus is mounted opposite a radiator which is in fluid communication with a liquid cooled internal combustion engine having fan generated air flow through the radiator to encounter the noise suppression apparatus. The noise suppression apparatus is tri-sectional, each section including accoustic energy absorbing material. The noise suppression apparatus alter the flow path of the fan driven air flow, exhausting the air to the surrounding environment while decreasing the amount of accoustic noise received by the surrounding environment.

Accoustic noise suppression apparatus noise suppression means

A fuel flow control lever is pivotably mounted for movement between fuel-off and fuel-on positions wherein it respectively engages first and second stops. A solenoid has its plunger linked to the control lever and when the solenoid is deenergized, a spring acting on the plunger holds the latter in an extended position wherein it holds the lever in its fuel-off position. A pair of coils surround the plunger and are selectively simultaneously energizable to retract the plunger to effect movement of the lever to its fuel-on position. The linkage between the plunger and lever is yieldable and the lever reaches its fuel-on position prior to the plunger becoming fully retracted. Upon the plunger becoming fully retracted, a normally closed switch is opened to de-energize one of the coils.

Solenoid-operated fuel flow control for fuel injection system

An internal combustion engine is mounted so as to be vibration isolated. The engine supports a muffler and muffler heat shield assembly, the latter forming part of a combined engine and muffler compartment and being constructed such that the engine exhaust acts to pull ambient air into the compartment, about the muffler and out of an exhaust duct in the top of the heat shield assembly. The compartment also includes a noise baffle for preventing sound waves from travelling directly from the engine and muffler to openings provided for permitting ambient air to enter the compartment.
