An LCS trust system includes resource devices including respective resource device pTPMs, and an SCP device including an SCP device pTPM and providing a resource management system with a resource management system vTPM. The resource management system uses the resource management system vTPM to establish a first trust relationship with the SCP device via the SCP device pTPM, and respective second trust relationships with each of the resource devices via their respective resource device pTPMs. The resource management system the uses a subset of the resource devices to provide an LCS that includes an LCS vTPM and that uses the LCS vTPM to establish a respective third trust relationship with each of the subset of the resource devices via their respective resource device pTPMs. As such, a chain of trust is provided for the LCS that is based at least upon the first, respective second, and respective third trust relationships.

A method for managing a microvisor includes: issuing an API call to a microvisor agent to obtain a configuration template (CT) required to provision an LCS on an IHS; upon obtaining the CT, sending the CT to a microvisor kernel via the microvisor API; provisioning the LCS based on the CT; upon provisioning of the LCS and based on the microvisor kernel's request, initiating a guest BIOS of the LCS; notifying, via a GUI, an administrator about the provisioned LCS; after notifying the administrator: monitoring communication traffic of the LCS; analyzing the communication traffic to generate an analysis output; making, based on the analysis output, a determination that the activity is a malicious activity; and implementing, based on the determination, a security policy to disrupt a malicious user of the LCS.

Method and system for microvisor hiding

In some examples, a computing device creates an event log when an event occurs. If the event log includes a path comprising one or more components, the computing device may determine a hash, using a hash function and a salt, for each of the components and substitute each component in the path with an index to the hash stored in a dictionary. In this way, the computing device replaces each component of the path with an index to a hash in the dictionary to create a modified path. The resulting modified path can be traversed and searched. For example, a search term may be hashed using the hash function and salt, and the dictionary associated with the logs searched for a match. In this way, a particular file name or a particular folder name can be identified in the modified path.

An information handling system for proximity-based authorization for encryption and decryption services may include a local network, a first memory having a private region, and a secure cryptographic module having a communication module stored within the private region. The secure cryptographic module may, when a first timer tick occurs, transmit a first encrypted challenge to a mobile device over the local network using the communication module. The secure cryptographic module may, when a first encrypted response corresponding to the first encrypted challenge is received from the mobile device via the local network using the communication module, decrypt the first encrypted response to a first response, validate the first response based on the secure cryptographic information, and when the first response is validated, enable access to the security services for the mobile device.

Proximity-based authorization for encryption and decryption services

A system comprising a host system, a driver in communication with a host system, and a plurality of host bus adapters in communication with the driver. The host bus adapters provide a plurality of data transmission paths between the host system and a storage device. The driver is operable to adjust data transmission loads between the paths without burdening the operating system.
