An electrical device includes a housing with a flange. The flange has a top side, an opposite bottom side, and an outer side extending between the top and bottom sides. The flange defines a bolt aperture extending from the bottom side towards the top side. The flange includes a nut retention slot within the flange. The nut retention slot has a size and shape configured to receive a nut therein through an opening along the outer side of the flange. The bolt aperture is positioned relative to the nut retention slot to align with a threaded central bore of the nut disposed within the nut retention slot to allow insertion of a bolt through the bolt aperture into the threaded central bore of the nut.

An electrical connector includes a housing that defines a cavity at a mating end. A terminal retention (TR) block is mounted to the housing within the cavity. The TR block defines multiple channels configured to receive contacts therein. The channels include deflectable retention latches configured to engage the contacts to retain the contacts in the channels. A terminal position assurance (TPA) clip is mounted to a distal end of the TR block within the cavity of the housing. The TPA clip is configured to block deflection of the retention latches to lock the contacts in the channels. The TPA clip has slots that align with the channels of the TR block and receive distal tips of the contacts therethrough. The slots have tapered lead-ins configured to guide the distal tips of the contacts from the channels into the slots.

A wire tray configured to support and route wires of a wire bundle between electrical components includes tray walls defining a channel configured to receive corresponding wires of the wire bundle. The tray walls includes a first side wall, a second side wall opposite the first side wall and a bottom wall extending between the first and second side walls. A cover is hingedly coupled to the first side wall. The cover extends across a top of the channel between the first and second side walls. The cover has a primary latch latchably coupled to the second side wall. The cover has a secondary latch engaging the first side wall to secure the cover to the first side wall.

An electrical connector assembly is shown which is profiled for mounting to a wall. The assembly is comprised of an insulative housing having an outer profile, at least one abutment portion, such as a flange, having an abutting surface outside of the outer profile, and a retaining surface spaced from the abutting surface. A retaining member is operably engageable with the retaining surface, and the retaining member has an orientation member preventing incorrect orientations between the retaining member and the housing.

A commoning electrical connector includes multiple insulation displacement terminals mounted in a molded electrical connector housing . The connector can be used to common wires in automotive wiring harnesses and provides a low profile package for mounting wires in a confined space, such as in an automobile headliner. The terminated connector can be adhesively bonded to a substructure, such as an automobile headliner. The molded housing also includes wire retention members on exterior faces of side walls so that the housing can be molded without side pulls. Wires are laced in a termination fixture , and the connector aligned by fixture posts and alignment holes on the connector, which is then pushed onto the termination fixture to terminate wires in insulation displacement slots
