Methods, media, and systems are provided for optimizing coverage and power usage in a network deploying an unlicensed band. A first transmission power associated with a primary carrier and a second transmission power associated with a secondary carrier are determined. Location data and channel state information from a user device utilizing the primary carrier and the secondary carrier are received. An interference level may be determined using the channel state information. Based on the location data and the interference level, the second transmission power associated with the secondary carrier is reduced and the first transmission power of the primary carrier is increased. In some aspects, a beamforming technique is applied for downlink transmissions via a 5G New Radio unlicensed band. In some aspects, upon detection of an increase of 3 dBi antenna gain, the second transmission power is reduced by 1 dBm.

Optimizing coverage and power usage in a network deploying an unlicensed band

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media herein provide for adjustment of a spectrum sharing allocation between devices operating on 5G and/or 6G technologies. An inter-operator scheduler receives common signals associated with 5G and/or 6G devices and determines time and/or frequency divisions and configurations to a shared technology spectrum to allocate spectrum resources. In response to determining an allocation of the shared spectrum, the shared spectrum can be efficiently shared among 5G and 6G devices in a dynamic and flexible manner.

Intra-operator terrestrial spectrum sharing in communication networks

An Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) Mobile Terminal (MT) identifies its geographic location and determines a New Radio Licensed (NR-L) frequency band and a New Radio Unlicensed (NR-U) frequency band based on the location. The IAB MT determines received signal strengths for the frequency bands. The IAB MT compares the received signal strengths to and select the NR-U frequency band. The IAB MT wirelessly exchanges network signaling over the NR-U frequency band and establishes an IAB link over the NR-U frequency band. A Radio Unit (RU) wirelessly exchanges user data with wireless User Equipment (UEs) and exchanges the user data with a Distributed Unit (DU). The DU exchanges the user data with the IAB MT. The IAB MT wirelessly exchanges the user data over the IAB link using the NR-U frequency band.

Frequency band selection for integrated access and backhaul (IAB) in wireless communication networks

Methods and systems for providing wireless communications for a device. The methods can include receiving an indication from a device that the device is capable of receiving data via optical transmission. The methods can also include utilizing an optical transmitter to transmit one or more packets of data to the device via optical transmission. The methods can also include utilizing an antenna element to transmit one or more packets of data to the device via radio frequency (RF) transmission.

Systems and methods for providing wireless communications to a device using both optical and radio frequency transmission

A bait threading device which can be easily carried in the pocket of a fisherman yet has a bait threading needle which can be readily extended to accommodate various sizes of bait. In addition to affording the threading of a fishing line through the bait, the device of this invention also includes a cap member which is designed to aid in the removing of a hook from a fish as well as a means of tying a fishing line to the hook. On one embodiment, the bait threader device of this invention also has the advantage of not only acting as bait threader but also providing a hook removal feature in a unitary construction.
