A method for packaging and installing high performance insulation of a loose, granular, moisture-resistant nature, suitable for providing insulation in walls, ceilings, or other cavities in traditional buildings, cabinets or other structures requiring thermal or sound insulation, in a practical, easy to manage, modular fashion. The method provides for the packaging of insulation material to be contained in an air-tight but moisture permeable material that traps the particulates but not moisture vapor. The insulation material may also be blended with other materials to adjust the product's resistance to thermal or sound conductivity, cost, and in order to prevent leakage in the event of puncture.

High performance insulation packaging and disbursement system

A vehicle-based threat detection system () for detecting weapons in a vehicle includes at least one sensor () in a cargo holding area of the vehicle. The sensor () is connected to at least one detector () that detects presence of a weapon in the cargo holding area. A system and method for global product management includes an onboard microserver located on a vehicle, a plurality of subsystem microservers, and a ground mirror database configured to be located remote of the vehicle. The onboard microserver includes a computer processor, memory storage, and a web-based server enabling local and remote communications to and from the onboard microserver using standard internet protocols. The plurality of subsystem microservers are configured to communicate with the onboard microserver and each other. The ground mirror database includes a replica of data contained on the onboard microserver and the subsystem microservers, and the database and the onboard microserver are configured for two-way communications and data transfers. The ground mirror database operates as a gatekeeper for all information sent to and from the onboard microserver by monitoring, authorizing and controlling a dissemination of data to and from the onboard microserver.

Global product management of a vehicle and a fleet of vehicles

An integrated system for monitoring a deployed product on a movable platform, gathering data about the deployed product, and disseminating the, data about the deployed product is disclosed. The system includes a server located on the movable platform capable of communication with the server from a remote location. The server communicates with a source of data about the deployed communicates with a source of data about the deployed product. The system further includes a portal onto which data gathered by the server may be downloaded and with which one can upload information to the server. The server may be provided in the form of a card adapted to be mounted into a pre-existing electronic controller of the deployed product.

Microserver engine control card

A method and system for managing a product during assembly or repair of the product includes use of a microserver configured to function as a local computing workstation and collect, store and process data for the product throughout the assembly or repair process. The microserver may be carried by a support structure that supports the product through the assembly or repair process. The product data and other information relevant to the assembly or repair process are stored on the microserver and may be accessed by other computing devices, both local and remote to the product. The information is updated on the microserver as it happens. Thus, users are able to track a status of the product in real-time. The microserver enables two-way communication such that the other computing devices may also send information to the microserver.

Microserver for managing an assembly or repair of a product

A modular adapter is attachable to an avionics box of an aircraft to enable network communication between the avionics box and other avionics boxes or controllers on the aircraft, local computing devices, and/or remote computing devices or remote servers in an external network, such as an Internet. The adapter includes a microserver module having a web-based server, a computer processor and memory, a data-over-power module configured to connect to a power connector that delivers power to the avionics box and transmits data to the microserver module, a connector module configured to plug into a power port of the avionics box such that power delivered by the power connector passes through the adapter to the avionics box, and a test port connector configured to plug into a test port of the avionics box. The test port connector enables the microserver module to access data from and send data to the avionics box.

A system, program instructions or method for maintaining a deployed product having at least one component, as well as training of the maintenance workers, is provided. The system has a microserver, a sensor and an electronic device. The microserver is integral with the deployed product. The sensor is in communication with the microserver and operably connected to the component for monitoring parameters of the component. The sensor communicates the parameters to the microserver. The electronic device is in wireless communication with the microserver and remotely located from the microserver. The electronic device receives fault code signals that are generated by the microserver. The fault code signals are representative of a fault code for the component based upon the parameters. The electronic device indicates the fault code for the component. The system can also be used for generating artificial fault codes and evaluating training exercises based upon responses to said artificial fault codes.

One or both of the closed architecture section and closed architecture section may include a microserver.

An improved support assembly for mounting a ribbon, medal, or other indicia on an outside surface of the fabric layer of a uniform includes a spacer having a central hole for receiving the spike of the ribbon holding structure therethrough, and an adhesive layer on one surface thereof which is adhered to the corresponding fastener for the spike to form an integral unit therewith. The spacer having a thickness in relation to the length of the spike sufficient to hold the ribbon against the fabric layer and prevent the ribbon, medal, or other indicia from sagging.
