A disposable system, in some embodiments, includes a multi-channel or multi-chamber test cartridge device configured to operate with a testing system for evaluation of hemostasis in a subject by in vitro evaluation of a test sample from the subject. The disposable system, in some embodiments, is configured to interrogate the test sample to evaluate clot stiffness, strength, or other mechanical properties of the test sample to assess the function of various physiological processes occur during coagulation and/or dissolution of the resulting clot.

Disposable system for analysis of hemostatic function

An electronic device may exchange packets with a second electronic device. These packets may include transmit times, based on a given clock in a given electronic device when the packets were transmitted. Moreover, when the packets are received by the electronic device, the electronic device may store associated receive times based on a clock in the electronic device. Using minimum time differences between the transmit and receive times, the electronic device may calculate a time offset between the electronic device and the second electronic device, which may then be used to determine future times in a clock domain of the second electronic device. Moreover, the electronic device may provide additional packets to the second electronic device, where a given additional packet includes audio data, and a playback time, corresponding to a given future time, when the audio data is to be played back by the second electronic device.

A vehicle collision warning system and method detects a rear-center area impending collision and a rear-lateral-corner area impending collision, and controls an operator alarm in one of a standard mode and a towing mode. In the standard mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide an alert to an operator when the rear-center area impending collision is detected and/or the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected. In the towing mode, the operator alarm is controlled to provide the alert to the operator when the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision is detected by the rear-lateral-corner area impending collision detection module, and to provide no alert to the operator when the rear-center impending collision is detected by the rear-center area impending collision detection module.

A climbing vehicle with wheel or endless-track type propulsion using suction for generating adhering forces is adapted to climbing non-planar surfaces such as intersecting walls, pipes or other structural members. The suction chamber is relatively fixed to the vehicle chassis and moves with the vehicle chassis. A seal is created around the suction chamber through an adaptive sealing mechanism. The adaptive sealing mechanism consists of a series of links that adapt to the climbing surface geometry and forms a seal at the climbing surface. The links in the adaptive sealing mechanism span a portion of the suction chamber along the longitudinal sides of the vehicle and are elastically sprung to maintain contact with the surface. The adaptive sealing mechanism links also span the lateral sides of the vehicle to fully enclose the suction chamber. Thus, the suction chamber is maintained even as the mobile vehicle passes over significant geometry changes in the climbing surface, for example transitioning between surfaces that are orthogonally opposed.

A storage assembly can include a housing defining an interior space, a top surface, a front surface, and an upper recessed storage area defined at the top surface. A moveable storage receptacle can define a movable storage area. The movable storage receptacle can include a front exterior surface that defines a part of the front surface of the housing. The moveable storage receptacle can be configured to move between a closed position in which the moveable storage area is disposed within the interior space of the housing, and an open position in which at least a portion of the moveable storage area is disposed beyond the interior space of the housing. A wireless charger can be disposed and configured to charge an electronic device when the electronic device is disposed at the upper recessed storage area.

This patent discloses a climbing vehicle capable of high payload to weight ratio and capable of climbing surfaces with geometric variations and traveling along a single dimension. More specifically, this invention applies to a vehicle well adapted to climbing non-planar surfaces such as pipes or other structural members while traveling along a single dimension, for example traveling parallel to the axis of the pipe. The climbing vehicle makes contact with the climbing surface through drive wheels and a trailing arm. The adhering members are aligned with the primary axis and are rigidly attached or contained in a suspension that is able to conform to a large range of surface irregularities while providing push and pulling forces between the adhering members and the climbing vehicle chassis to uniformly distribute the climbing loads on the adhering members. The result is a climbing machine that can accommodate large surface irregularities while maximizing the climbing payload with a minimum number and size of adhering members.

A body vent protector assembly for a vehicle includes a venting port defined into a body underlying surface on the vehicle and a body vent protector disposed at the venting port for inhibiting undesirable matter from interfering with the venting port. The body vent protector includes a shroud disposed over at least a portion of the venting port and a blocking rib disposed at or adjacent a rear edge of the venting port for blocking the undesirable matter.

A transducer is mounted to the vehicle panel being configured to be connected to and operated by an amplifier. The resilient runners contain adhering members such as magnets that create forces directed toward a ferrous climbing surface. The resilient runner has flexibility and internal stiffness or additional springs that transfer these forces to the climbing vehicle chassis and payload to provide equilibrium during the climbing process. It is able to conform to a large range of surface irregularities while providing push and pulling forces between the adhering members and the climbing vehicle chassis to uniformly distribute the climbing loads on the adhering members. The result is a climbing machine that can accommodate large surface irregularities while maximizing the climbing payload with a minimum number and size of adhering members.

A plastic panel for attachment to an exterior wall of a building includes a body, an attachment hem attached to the body and defining at least one aperture for a fastener, and a side flange extending laterally outwardly of the body. The side flange defines a fastening slot for attaching the panel to a building wall. The fastening slot extends at a predetermined acute angle relative to horizontal, preferably about 10-20&deg; relative to horizontal, and about 15&deg; in a particularly preferred embodiment. The fastening slot is preferably elongated and narrow so that the head of a metal fastener extends over opposed upper and lower edges of the slot.
