A head lamp module for a motor vehicle is provided, and includes one single printed circuit board, a first group of light sources, a second group of light sources, a lens and an optical device. The first group of light sources and the second group of light sources are both arranged on the printed circuit board. The first group of light sources and the second group of light sources emit light to the optical device. The optical device is adapted to guide the emitted light in a direction towards the lens. The light leaves the head lamp module through the lens.

Head lamp module for a motor vehicle

An illumination device having a first and second light module each having a light source and an optical unit for generating a first illumination region and a second illumination region, respectively. A control unit controls the first light module and the second light module, so that a larger number of light pixels are imaged in the first illumination region than in the second illumination region with respect to a surface of equal size, wherein the light pixels of the first light module have a greater illumination intensity than the light pixels of the second light module. The control unit acts upon the light sources of the first light module or the second light module such that the light sources of the first and second light module are each operated with a thermal output within a tolerance band and below a maximum thermal output of the at least one light source.

Illumination device for vehicles

A headlight module with a minimum of one LED for generating a low beam and with a minimum of one LED for generating a high beam. An optical element is provided into which light from the minimum of one LED for generating the high beam can be emitted. The optical element is arranged as a cover for a portion of the light that can be generated by the LED for generating a low beam. The optical element features a decoupling surface that at least partially includes a surface structure with a composition such that, in the area of the surface structure, light is emitted that can be decoupled from the optical element.
