An integrated GNSS signal having a plurality of signal components with arbitrary power allocation may be processed. In an embodiment, an integrated signal processing unit of a GNSS receiver may generate in parallel complex rotated samples for a sample of the integrated signal. The complex rotated samples (e.g., early and late complex rotated samples) may be accumulated in parallel in a window that spans any arbitrary width that is less than or equal to a number of code chips in a PRN code sequence. In an embodiment, the integrated signal processing unit may sequentially generate complex rotated samples for the sample. The complex rotated samples (e.g., early, punctual, and late complex rotated samples) may be sequentially accumulated in the window. The GNSS receiver may utilize the accumulated complex rotated samples to perform correlation techniques, perform multipath mitigation techniques, and/or track the integrated signal.

Systems, media, and methods for processing an integrated signal having a plurality of signal components with arbitrary power allocation

A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver demodulates code shift keying (CSK) data utilizing a binary search. The GNSS receiver receives a signal including a pseudorandom noise (PRN) code modulated by code shift keying (CSK) to represent a symbol (i.e., CSK modulated symbol). The GNSS receiver maintains a plurality of receiver codes each representing a different shift in chips to the PRN code. The GNSS receiver performs a linear combination of portions of the receiver codes. In an embodiment, the GNSS receiver compares correlation power level value for respective portions of the receiver codes to demodulate the CSK data. In a further embodiment, the GNSS receiver compares the correlation power level values for portions of receiver codes with power detection threshold values to demodulate the CSK data. In a further embodiment, the GNSS receiver utilizes signs of the correlation power level values to demodulate the CSK data.

System and method for demodulating code shift keying data from a satellite signal utilizing a binary search

A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver demodulates code shift keying (CSK) data utilizing correlations with combinational pseudo-random noise (PRN) codes generated for different bit positions. The GNSS receiver receives a signal including a PRN code modulated by CSK to represent a symbol (i.e., CSK modulated symbol). The GNSS receiver maintains a plurality of receiver codes, each representing a different shift in chips to the PRN code. The GNSS receiver performs a chip-by-chip linear combination of a group of receiver codes for each bit position of the CSK modulated symbol. The GNSS receiver correlates the received signal with each combinational PRN code to produce a binary value that is the CSK modulated symbol.

System and method for demodulating code shift keying data utilizing correlations with combinational PRN codes generated for different bit positions

A receiver includes a pre-correlation filter that forms an image of the average chip shape of a received signal over a specified period of time. The filter includes an array of complex accumulation registers that accumulate measurements that are associated with signal samples from specific ranges of locations, or code chip phase angles, along a spread-spectrum chip. Using the accumulated measurements, the receiver estimates the location of the chip transitions in a direct path signal component. The receiver may thereafter change the starting points, sizes and numbers of ranges, such that the accumulation registers accumulate more detail from the chip edges. The receiver in addition may use the accumulated measurements from selected registers and/or selected groups of registers, to produce the correlation values that are needed to perform one or more correlation techniques and/or one or more multipath mitigation techniques. As appropriate, the sizes and/or starting points of the bins, and/or the selections of the bins for the various groupings may be altered, to change the spacings, locations, and so forth to which correlation values correspond.

Apparatus for and method of making pulse-shape measurements

A receiver utilizes an array of complex accumulation registers to form an image of the average chip shape or, as appropriate, chip edge shape, of the received signal over a specified period of time as a time series of complex power measurements. The receiver divides the length of the chip into a plurality of ranges, or bins, and, as appropriate, extends the bins to cover additional chips or portions thereof. When a sample is taken, the receiver enables the respective registers that are associated with the corresponding bin or bins, and the respective registers then accumulates the associated power measurement. The receiver uses the accumulated measurements from selected registers and/or selected groups of registers, to produce the correlation values that are needed to perform one or more correlation techniques and/or one or more multipath mitigation techniques. As appropriate, the sizes and/or starting points of the bins, and/or the selections of the bins for the various groupings may be altered, to change the spacings, locations, and so forth to which correlation values correspond.

System and method for making correlation measurements utilizing pulse shape measurements

An injection mold for use with a molding press has four mold levels in axially stacked relation, permitting a substantial doubling of output for a given size of press as compared with a back-to-back two level stacked mold. The mold feeder flow path extends axially from the injector head to a flow distribution block located at the centre of the stacked mold block series. The centrally located distribution block is connected, in sealed relation with the injector head, being axially displaceable therefrom in continuing sealed relation upon the opening of the mold. A drool prevention valve system, located at two of the mold interfaces, to preclude drooling of fluid plastic stock upon opening of the molds includes pressure fluid actuators for operating the valves, wherein the pressure fluid may comprise the fluid plastic stock. The valve system also includes a depressurizing valve provision, wherein, upon opening of the mold interfaces the stock distribution passages are substantially depressurized, to thereby reduce any tendency to drool. The mold includes axial adjustment means to compensate for differential variations in overall mold length within the press, due to changes in effective mold temperature.
