A marine drive is for propelling a marine vessel. The marine drive has a propulsor configured to generate a thrust force in a body of water, an electric motor which powers the propulsor, a battery having a battery port for outputting battery power, a supporting frame which supports the marine drive relative to marine vessel, the supporting frame having a frame interior which retains the batter, and a cowling on the supporting frame. The cowling has a first cowl portion and a second cowl portion which is movable relative to the first cowl portion into a closed position enclosing the supporting frame and the battery in a cowling interior and alternately into an open position providing access to the cowling interior enabling insertion and removal of the battery.

Marine drives having accessible cowling interior and battery

A marine drive has a powerhead and a cowling enclosing the powerhead. The cowling comprises a first cowl portion and a second cowl portion coupled to the first cowl portion and being movable with respect to the first cowl portion into and between a closed cowl position in which the powerhead is enclosed by the cowling and an open cowl position in which the powerhead is accessible. A recoil starter is for starting the marine drive. The recoil starter extends through the second cowl portion and comprises a pull-start handle coupled to the marine drive via a recoil cable. Manually pulling the pull-start handle out of a recoiled position with respect to the marine drive causes the marine drive to start. The pull-start handle is also movable into an offset position, in which the second cowl portion is freely movable into and out of the open and closed cowl positions.

Marine drives having a recoil starter

A cutting tool including a body, a blade, a feed shaft, and a locking member. The body defines an axis and is adapted to be received by a spindle of a power tool. The blade is removably supportable on the body and rotatable about the axis for cutting a workpiece. A feed shaft is removably supportable in the body and rotatable about the axis for engaging a workpiece, the feed shaft being mountable in the cutting tool to engage and at least partially restrain the blade. The feed shaft further includes an opening transverse to the axis. The locking member is engageable with the body and with the opening in the feed shaft. Advancement of the locking member into the opening tightens both the blade and the feed shaft to the body.

Cutting tool

A cowl for an outboard marine propulsion device having an internal combustion engine. The cowl comprises a first cowl portion; a second cowl portion that mates with the first cowl portion to enclose the internal combustion engine; a service door on the second cowl portion, wherein the service door is positionable in an open position and in a closed position; and a carrying handle on the second cowl portion, wherein the carrying handle is accessible when the service door is in the open position and inaccessible when the service door is in the closed position. A plurality of latches are spaced apart around the perimeter. The latches latch the second cowl portion to the first cowl portion. An actuator assembly actuates each of the plurality of latches. The actuator assembly can be actuated by movement of the carrying handle.

Cowls and latching assemblies for cowls on outboard marine propulsion devices

A hinge assembly is for a cowl of an outboard motor. The hinge assembly is configured to connect a first portion of the cowl to a second portion of the cowl. The hinge assembly comprises an arm that is connected to one of the first and second cowl portions and a retainer that is connected to the other of the first and second cowl portions. The arm is movable with respect to the retainer between a registered position wherein the arm is retained by and pivotable with respect to the retainer to thereby pivotably connect the first portion of the cowl to the second portion of the cowl and an unregistered position wherein the arm is separated from the retainer so that the first portion of the cowl is separated from the second portion of the cowl.

Hinge assemblies for a cowl of an outboard motor

A footboard assembly configured to be coupled to a motorcycle supported in a vertically upright position. The footboard assembly includes a footboard and a footpeg arm. The footboard is configured to couple to the motorcycle and to support a foot of a rider. A top surface of the footboard defines a foot support plane. The footpeg arm includes an attachment portion pivotally coupled to the footboard about a pivot axis that is not parallel to the foot support plane. The footpeg arm includes a footpeg portion spaced from the attachment portion. The footpeg arm pivots about the pivot axis between a stowed position, in which the footpeg portion defines a first height and a deployed position, in which the footpeg portion defines a second height higher than the first height.

Multi-position footboard

A cutting tool includes a cutting body and a connecting structure configured to support the cutting body. The cutting body can include teeth positioned circumferentially around and extending outwardly from the cutting body. The connecting structure can include a drive shaft for drivingly connecting the cutting tool to a power tool. The connecting structure can also include a connecting plate and a locking member for securing the cutting body to the connecting structure. In some embodiments, the locking member is movable relative to the drive shaft between a locked position, in which the locking member secures the cutting body to the connecting structure, and an unlocked position, in which the cutting body is removable from the connecting structure.

Power tool

A stud punch head for a power tool includes a head housing and a first arm movably coupled to the head housing. The first arm supports a punch. The stud punch head also includes a second arm movably coupled to the head housing and relative to the first arm. The second arm supports a die opposite the punch. The stud punch head also includes a drive mechanism positioned at least partially within the head housing and operatively coupled to a motor of the power tool. The drive mechanism is operable to move the first arm and the second arm toward and away from each other.

A drive mechanism for a power tool. The power tool includes a motor having a drive shaft and an output member adapted to support a tool element. The drive mechanism includes a drive assembly engaged with and driven by the drive shaft and a drive arm drivingly connected between the drive assembly and the output member to transmit driving force from the drive assembly to the output member. The drive arm is configured to absorb an impact.

Drive mechanism and power tool

A blade for a cutting tool. The cutting tool can be supportable on a spindle of a power tool. The blade can include a blade body removably supportable on the cutting tool and being moveable with the cutting tool relative to the power tool for cutting a workpiece. The blade can further include a first cutting edge extending outwardly from the blade body and a second cutting edge extending outwardly from the blade body. When the blade is supported in the cutting tool, the first cutting edge can extend radially across an end of the cutting tool and the second cutting edge can be positioned adjacent an outer circumference of the cutting tool.

A cutting tool for a power tool. The cutting tool can include a tool body having a first end and a second end and an axis extending therebetween. The second end of the tool body can be engageable with the power tool. A feed screw can be supported in the tool body and can extend outwardly beyond the first end to engage a workpiece. A cutting blade can be removably supported in the tool body for engaging the workpiece.

A battery pack for powering a cordless power tool. The battery pack includes at least one battery cell operable to supply a discharge current, a switch operable to control the discharge current and a protection device to protect the switch. The protection device is positioned such that the device absorbs a current traveling in a direction opposite to that of the discharge current supplied from the battery cell.
