A web of cleaning products and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The web includes first and second carrier sheets and a plurality of pouches containing a cleaning composition. Each of the pouches is disposed in a respective depression formed in an upper surface of the first carrier sheet. A first internal atmosphere is enclosed within each of the pouches. The first carrier sheet is sealed to the second carrier sheet such that a second internal atmosphere exists between the second carrier sheet and the plurality of pouches. The second internal atmosphere has a greater absolute pressure than the first internal atmosphere so that the plurality of pouches and at least a portion of the cleaning composition in the plurality of pouches are compressed into the plurality of depressions in the first carrier sheet by the second internal atmosphere.

Web of cleaning products having a modified internal atmosphere and method of manufacture

The invention relates to a multi-chambered, fluid-fillable apparatus apparatus, comprising two sheets bonded together to define a plurality of cells between them. In a first aspect, at least one, and preferably both, of the sheets are formed from polyvinyl alcohol. In a second aspect, the sheets are sealed together using both permanent and non-permanent seals. The non-permanent seals are formed to rupture at a predetermined internal pressure in order to dissipate externally applied load.

A method of making a web of multi-dose cleaning products may include forming first and second pluralities of internal holders in a first film, forming a first plurality of external holders in a carrier sheet corresponding with the first plurality of internal holders, and forming a second plurality of external holders in the carrier sheet corresponding with the second plurality of internal holders. The method may also include filling each of the first plurality of internal holders with a first cleaning composition, and filling each of the second plurality of internal holders with a second cleaning composition. Furthermore, the method may include sealing a second film to the first film to define first and second pluralities of pouches, folding the carrier sheet so that each of the first plurality of pouches overlaps a corresponding one of the second plurality of pouches, and sealing together overlapping portions of the carrier sheet.

A web () of cleaning products () and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The web includes first () and second carrier () sheets and a plurality of pouches () containing a cleaning composition. Each of the pouches is disposed in a respective depression () formed in an upper surface () of the first carrier sheet. A first internal atmosphere () is enclosed within each of the pouches. A stain removal device adapted to at least partially surround a stain located on a fabric to activate in a targeted manner includes a shell comprising a wall with an inner surface, an outer surface, a rim defining an aperture in the shell, the rim being defined by the inner and outer surfaces and the inner surface defining a shell cavity, at least one opening extending through the wall of the shell between the inner and outer surfaces of the shell, a dispensable cleaning agent at least partially disposed within the shell cavity, and an attachment portion at least partly coupled to the shell. The attachment portion is configured to removably couple the stain removal device to a fabric or article of clothing such that the rim of the shell contacts the fabric and at least partially surrounds a stain located on the fabric. So configured, the dispensable cleaning agent may activate in a targeted manner relative to the stain during a wash cycle.

Skin package

Machine readable coded markings carried on articles to identify various properties of the articles are disclosed. The coded markings are formed integrally of the article in the form of a sequence of areas having contrasting light scattering and reflecting properties incorporated on the article's surface. The areas are arranged in the form of neighboring blocks and empty spaces disposed around and outside of a central target area defined by a sequence of concentric continuous markings, the blocks forming a series of layers containing coded information. Each of the blocks is positioned side-by-side contiguous either with the outermost ring of the target or with a block in a previous layer.

A process for producing a package comprising a composition contained within a closed water soluble envelope comprises the initial steps of moulding a first sheet of water soluble material to form at least one recess adapted to contain the composition, placing the composition in the at least one recess, placing a second sheet of water soluble material across the recess, and sealing the first sheet to the second sheet to form a continuous closed seal around the recess thereby closing the package. The or each closed package is conditioned in an environment of raised relative humidity for a period of time prior to or during the packaging of the package within a secondary pack. The secondary pack includes a moisture barrier to maintain the package within the secondary pack in a conditioned form.
