Terminal with integral printers

In a method for adapting a label-making tool, a selection component may be presented via a user interface. The selection component may include a finite set of items corresponding to types of objects for labels. User input selecting an item corresponding to a type of label object may be received. Data-acquisition actions performable by the label-making tool to obtain data for the label object may be identified based on the type of the label object. A selection component including a finite set of items corresponding to the data-acquisition actions may be presented. User input selecting an item corresponding to a data-acquisition action may be received. The workflow of a label-making tool may be adapted to include the data-acquisition action. The tool may be configured to perform the data-acquisition action to generate a label including the obtained data.

Label-making techniques and systems

In one embodiment, a cartridge body for a cartridge for providing media to a printer includes a first part and a complimentary second part, the first part and the second part formed of post-consumer-material; a hinge integrally connected to the first part and the second part and adapted to close the first part and the second part together over the media and contain the media therein; and an opening formed by the closed first part and second part for dispensing the media to the printer. Control of dual printing mechanisms

The present invention relates to a tape printing system for printing an image on an image receiving tape comprising means for receiving a supply of image receiving tape; means for generating a plurality of labels from a data source, said generating means comprising means for receiving said data, means for processing said data to identify individual label data to be printed on said plurality of labels and means for generating label date from the identified individual label data; and means for printing said plurality of labels.
