A system for processing a transaction by a user at a transaction point comprising: a data processing module configured to generate a transaction signal when an initiation of the transaction at a POST device of a transaction point by the user using a transaction initiator is detected, wherein the transaction signal comprises a transaction data; a data delivery module configured to transmit the transaction data from the POS device to a remote processor and optionally to a secondary computer based device of the user; a tagging module configured to enable the user to tag the transaction data when a prompt is displayed on the hand held computer based device; and a report generation module configured to generate a report corresponding to any client selected by the user through the hand held computer based device of the user.

Video, voice and data are integrated using existing telephone connections by using a video network server to receive and transmit video signals to and from clients using telephone wires. Client frequency division multiplexing couplers, each associated with one of the clients, receive video and telephone signals from the client and frequency multiplex them onto the telephone wires for transmission. They also receive video signals from the server and frequency demultiplex them for transmission to the client. A video frequency division multiplexing coupler connected between the video network server and each of the client frequency division multiplexing couplers receive the video and telephone signals from the clients and transmit only the video signals to the video network server. A telephone frequency division multiplexing coupler connected between a telephone network switch and each of the client frequency division multiplexing couplers receive the video and telephone signals from the clients and transmit only the telephone signals to the telephone network switch.

Integrating video, voice and data traffic in a single, conferencing system using existing connections

An extender-arm for use in an automobile. The extender-arm includes a handle section, a gripping section, and an extension section connecting the handle section to the gripping section. The handle section includes an actuator for effecting open-and-close movement of a gripper or other device in the gripper section. The handle also includes a socket into which a variety of tools&#x2014;that may be useful in an automobile or other one environment&#x2014;may be removably inserted. The extender-arm may include a rechargeable power source for connection with the tools inserted into the socket. The extension section may include an ancillary device such as a cellular phone holding clip, and/or a coin holding structure. Also, a pouch may be provided to store the tools that are removably attachable to the socket.

The present invention disclosure relates to a replaceable ink container for providing ink to an inkjet printing system. The inkjet printing system has a receiving station mounted to a scanning carriage. The receiving station has a fluid inlet and a pair of guide rails extending along either side of the fluid inlet. The replaceable ink container includes a fluid outlet configured for connection to the fluid inlet associated with the receiving station. Also included is a pair of outwardly extending guide rail engagement features. Each of the pair of guide rail engagement features are so disposed and arranged on the replaceable ink container for engagement with each of the pair of guide rails to guide the replaceable ink container in both horizontal and vertical directions into the receiving station. The pair of outwardly extending guide rail engagement features and the pair of guide rails cooperate to align the fluid outlet with the fluid inlet to establish fluid communication between the ink container and the receiving station.

Replaceable ink container for an inkjet printing system

The present disclosure relates to a replaceable ink reservoir for installation into a printing system that has a moveable carriage for repositioning a printing portion relative to print media. The replaceable ink reservoir includes an ink reservoir that does not have an integral printing portion. Also included is an electrical storage device for storing information. The installation of the ink reservoir into the moveable carriage establishes both fluid communication between the ink reservoir and the moveable carriage and establishes electrical continuity between the electrical storage device and the moveable carriage.

The present disclosure relates to an ink container for providing ink to an inkjet printhead. The ink container includes a reservoir for containing ink. Also included in the ink container is at least one continuous fiber defining a three dimensional porous member. The at least one continuous fiber is bonded to itself at points of contact to form a self-sustaining structure that is disposed within the reservoir for retaining ink. Ink is drawn from the self-sustaining structure and provided to the inkjet printhead.

A replaceable ink container includes an ink container chassis for containing a quantity of ink and a latch separate from and attachable to the ink container chassis for securing the replaceable ink container to a receiving station of an inkjet printing system. The chassis further includes a receptacle for receiving the latch to attach the latch to the chassis. The container is assembled by inserting the latch into the receptacle.

Management computers of a packet-switched computer network allocate transmission bandwidth for transmissions such as those for conferences between client computers of the network. Callers and callees request bandwidth from their associated managers for transmissions. Managers monitor and allocate bandwidth taking into account whether the transmissions are between local clients or local and external clients. Managers maintain records of active transmissions, but need not maintain lists of client computers with which the managers are associated.

A data processor bus in which information is transferred between agents attached to the bus by issuing request packets that request data from an agent on the bus and reply packets that return data requested by a request packet. A control method mixes request-and-reply packets on the bus by determining the use of a next-bus cycle using arbitration, reply deferral, and specification lines and the state of a grant queue and a pipe queue in accordance with a specified protocol. A request is forced to take the next available bus cycle upon the condition that there is an agent identified in the great queue and the pipeline queue is not full. A reply packet is forced to take the next available bus cycle upon the condition that the pipeline queue is full. A reply packet is forced to take the next available bus cycle upon the condition that the grant queue is empty and the pipeline queue is not empty. Giving requests precedence over replies to allows the pipeline to be kept as full as possible. A replying agent assigned to the highest priority slot 1 in the pipeline queue is allowed to defer its own slot in the pipeline queue until a later time to thereby permit a transaction in Slot 2 of the pipeline queue to be completed before the one ahead of it.

An integrated circuit module (200) in which an error detection circuit (234, 263) compares data (204) generated internally on module (200) with data (108) generated externally from another substantially identical module (100). An error detect output (238) is asserted upon the condition that data (204) generated internally on module (200) and data (108) generated externally from module (100) do not match. A circuit (222, 224) alters the internally generated data (204) by injecting erroneous data into the internally generated data (204) to thereby generate altered data (230). Error anticipation control logic (210) generates a test condition (214, 216), which corresponds to the expected error condition caused by altered data. Comparison circuit (242) compares the actual error detect output (238, 240) with expected error detect output (214, 215). An error output (244) is asserted if the actual error detect output (238, 240) and the expected error detect output (214, 216) do not match.

Control logic for controlling references to a cache (24) including a cache directory (62) which is capable of being configured into a plurality of ways, each way including tag and valid-bit storage for associatively searching the directory (62) for cache data-array addresses. In order for any failure of the power supply unit for two read-write memories which are operable in parallel, not to result in irreversible damage to data, two parallel power supply circuits are provided for the operation of the memories. Each power supply circuit is capable of supplying the operating current of one of the memories and the standby current of the remaining memory. Each of the power supply circuits in the power supply is buffered with capacitors in such a manner that, upon a fault in one of the power supply circuits, the output voltage, as soon as the capacitive buffer declines from a normal operating voltage to a threshold voltage and to a minimum operating voltage, data secure current reducing steps are taken. The capacitive circuits and threshold voltages are selected such that the period of time the voltage takes to decline from the threshold to the minimum operating voltage is longer than the time required to complete the present read-write operation and to save the relevant data into the memory. One of the memories is then put into standby mode by a monitoring device as the output voltage declines to the threshold voltage leaving only one active memory which can be operated from one of the two memory power supply circuits.
