A system for detecting double-feed flat item conveyed in a mail processing machine, including a detection for directing a beam of radiant energy toward the moving flat items, scanning them with the beam and receiving at least a portion of the beam of radiation reflected from them. The detector includes a triangulation sensor for providing an output proportional to the position at which the reflected portion of the beam is received, and means for determining from the output, the distance (d) between the radiation source and the point of reflection of the beam on the moving flat items, and providing a signal (S) representative of said distance; and a controller configured to receive the signal (S) and generate an output signal (V) indicative of a flat item profile and a double-feed condition when it detects a significant break point or slope change of the signal from a first direction to a second direction.

A scanner device for scanning mailpieces, which scanner device comprises: a contact image sensor or 'CIS' disposed in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction in which the mailpieces are conveyed through a module of a franking system; a support to which said sensor is fastened, the support being mounted to pivot at one end of at least one first drive lever, the other end of which is itself mounted to pivot about a first common hinge pin secured to a stationary portion of the module and disposed upstream from a set of conveyor rollers, so as to make it possible for said contact image sensor to move vertically; and at least one second drive lever one end of which is mounted to pivot about a second common hinge pin secured to said stationary portion of said module and disposed downstream from said set of conveyor rollers, the other end of the second drive lever, by being moved synchronously with the vertical movement of said set of conveyor rollers, moving the contact image sensor via the first drive lever.

Scanner device for a franking system

A mailpiece scanner device in a module of a franking system, said mailpiece scanner device comprising: a contact image sensor or 'CIS' disposed in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction in which the mailpieces are conveyed through the module; and a support to which said sensor is fastened and which is mounted firstly to move vertically under the action of at least one drive lever and secondly to pivot about a longitudinal hinge pin; the device further comprising guide means secured to a stationary portion of the module for the purpose of limiting firstly the vertical movement of the image sensor support and secondly pivoting of said support about the longitudinal hinge pin.

A turbine or compressor stage for a turbomachine is disclosed. The stage includes a blade wheel surrounded by a sectorized ring carried by a casing. Each ring sector includes a circumferential rim that is clamped radially a casing rail by two clamps of C-shaped section that are engaged on the circumferential end portions of the rim of the ring sector and on the corresponding portions of the casing rail.

Turbine or compressor stage for a turbomachine

A turbojet turbine or compressor stage is disclosed. The stage includes at least one rotor disk mounted inside a sectorized ring supported by a casing and including a circumferential flange radially clamped on an annular rail of the casing by a substantially C-shaped cross-section annular locking device which is axially engaged on the casing rail and on the flange of the ring. A substantially cylindrical heat shielding foil is interposed between the ring and the device. The foil or the device includes at least one extra thickness which respectively bears on the device, or the foil, to radially immobilize this foil.

A stage of a turbine or compressor for a turbomachine including at least a vane disk surrounded with a sectorized ring supported by a casing and including a circumferential flange radially clamped on a rail of the casing by substantially C-shaped cross-section locks which are axially engaged on the casing rail and the flange of the ring is disclosed. The inner and outer walls of each lock includes radial bearing surfaces on the flange of the ring and the casing rail, respectively. The bearing surfaces only extend on a part of the width of the lock.

A device for controlling the clearance between the tips of rotary blades and a stationary ring assembly of a gas turbine, the device comprising a circular control box having at least two annular air circulation strips that are spaced apart from each other in the axial direction, each having a plurality of perforations in order to modify the temperature of the stationary ring assembly by discharging air, an annular air feed channel radially spaced from the air circulation strip, at least one air duct for feeding the feed channel with air, and a plurality of hollow distribution spacers connecting the air feed channel to the air circulation strips in order to feed the strips with air while enabling the air that has been discharged against the stationary ring assembly to flow between the feed channel and the circulation strips in order to be evacuated therefrom.
