Cross-channel and cross-source data are aggregated into an aggregated data store. Custom segmentation is generated from the aggregated data. A campaign is monitored for the custom segmentation with successes and failures provided as dynamic feedback to a machine learning process that dynamically adjusts the segmentation and the campaign for optimal performance. In an embodiment, a final recommendation is provided identifying a final optimal segmentation and campaign.

An approach is provided for indirectly connecting a customer's mobile smart device to computers located at a business when the customer is making a purchase at the business. The customer's mobile smart device and the business's computers communicate over the Internet with a customer interaction manager executing on an Internet server. This provides an easy to use interface for the customer and allows the customer to receive information and send requests to the business without having to wait for personnel working at the business to be available.

A remote, secure maintenance and support system, method, network entity and computer program product are provided. The system can include site terminal(s) and/or a site server (collectively 'site device(s)'), a data center in communication with the site device(s) over a first secure tunnel, and at least one client terminal in communication with the data center over a second secure tunnel. The site device(s) can be configured to periodically transmit to the data center one or more error messages over the first secure tunnel. The data center can, in turn, be configured to make the error messages accessible to at least one authorized technician operating one of the client terminals. The client terminal can be configured to retrieve at least one of the error messages over the second secure tunnel and to take an action associated with resolving the error message.
