An exemplary adapter configured as a transition between a fitting and a fluid system component. In one exemplary embodiment, the adapter is configured as a transition between a compression fitting and a fluid system component. The adapter comprises a body portion, a compression portion, and a flange portion. A first end of the body portion is inserted into a port of the compression fitting and the compression portion compresses a resilient seal against a sealing shoulder of the fitting. A nut of the compression fitting engages the flange portion of the adapter to connect the adapter to the compression fitting. A second end of the body portion is connected to a fluid system component. The adapter provides a fluid tight connection between the compression fitting and the fluid system component without using a gasket ring or a locking ring of the compression fitting.

A stabilizer elbow lock that prevents a seal between a stabilizer elbow and a coupler valve from being broken by engaging at least a portion of the stabilizer elbow and by engaging at least a portion of the coupler valve. In an alternative embodiment, one or more adapters are provided that interface between the lock and the coupler valve and/or interface between the lock and the elbow.

A dispensing device for helping to pour the contents of a first container into a second container without spillage. The device includes a flexible tube having an opened first end for being positioned on the pour spout of the first container, having an opened second end for being positioned adjacent the inlet opening of the second container, and having an opened interior extending between the opened first end and the opened second end for allowing the contents of the first container to be poured through the opened interior of the tube from the pour spout of the first container into the inlet opening of the second container. The device includes structure for securing the opened first end of the tube on the pour spout of the first container.
