A material eject system includes an ejector mounted to a bed of a vehicle which is movable between a rear end and a forward end of the bed for ejecting material from the bed. The ejector is powered by a cylinder having different fluid volumes depending on the direction of motion of the cylinder. A control circuit operates with the ejector motor to automatically move the ejector through eject and return cycles. Further, the control circuit detects different positions of the cylinder and automatically operates the cylinder at different speeds to maintain a constant motor and ejector speed throughout the material eject cycle.

In the operation of work machines having an ejector blade pivotally coupled to a cylinder by cylinder-attached pivot pins, it has been a problem reducing the stress acting on the pivot pins caused by, for one example, improperly set yaw rollers. The present invention provides for an ejector arrangement for a work machine in which a coupler is pivotally coupled to the cylinder and pivotally coupled with the ejector blade.

A material eject system includes an ejector mounted to a bed of a vehicle which is movable between a rear end and a forward end of the bed for ejecting material from the bed. The ejector is powered by a cylinder having different fluid volumes depending on the direction of motion of the cylinder. Two pumps having flow rates matching the different fluid volumes of the cylinder are used to power the cylinder in the different directions.

An over-center ejector blade retaining system which automatically locks the ejector blade in a loading position when the ejector blade has been retracted into the load position by operation of the hydraulic cylinder or ram to which it is attached. Movement of the ejector blade into the load position rotates a lock plate attached to the vehicle body into engagement with a locking roller attached to the ejector blade thereby compressing a spring attached to the lock plate. Upon movement of the connection between the lock plate and the spring over the center of rotation of the lock plate, the compressive force on the spring is released and the ejector blade held in the load position. When the ejector blade is moved from the load position to discharge materials, the process is reversed and the lock plate held in an open position for again receiving the locking rollers upon the return of the ejector blade to the load position.

A work machine having a receptacle adapted to receive and carry loads is disclosed. The receptacle has a first lateral sidewall, a second lateral sidewall spaced apart from the first lateral sidewall, and a floor extending between the first lateral sidewall and the second lateral sidewall. The work machine further includes a tailgate which extends transversely from the first sidewall to the second sidewall, the tailgate being pivotable between a closed position which prevents loads from exiting a rear portion of the receptacle, and an open position which allows loads to exit the rear portion of the receptacle. The work machine yet further includes a cylinder movable between a first rod position and a second rod position and a linkage. The linkage of the tailgate in the closed position when the cylinder is located in the first rod position, and positions the tailgate in the open position when the cylinder is located in the second rod position. The linkage includes a lever having a first lever end, a second lever end, and a fulcrum positioned between the first lever end and the second lever end. The lever is pivotally coupled to the first lateral sidewall. The first lever end is coupled to the tailgate. The second lever end is coupled to the cylinder.

An ejector blade carriage mounting system for connecting the ejector blade carriage to the ejector blade in a manner to accommodate variations in the fabrication of a truck body in which the ejector blade is utilized by connecting the ejector blade carriage to the ejector blade through a tri-pod arrangement of mounting bolts which incorporate shims and spherical seating washers to compensate for such variations and to ensure true axial loading of the connecting bolts. A fourth connecting bolt is provided to help lock the assembly in the desired position once the spacial accommodations have been effected.

A first tubular member is rigidly connected to a load engaging implement and a second tubular member is disposed in and retained in the first tubular member. The second tubular member is connected to a fluid operated jack. The second tubular member is rotatable in the first tubular member and maintains a cylinder housing and rod of the fluid operated jack for relative rotation. A fastener pivotally connects the fluid operated jack to the second tubular housing and a fixed member mounted on a load supporting body.

Novel compounds of formula (IID) ##STR1## wherein either both X and Y represent groups independently selected from amino and lower alkylamino, or one of X and Y represents a group selected from amino and lower alkylamino and the other of X and Y represents a hydrogen atom have been found to be active against rhinoviruses and other viruses. Processes for producing these compounds include reduction of flavanone derivatives or of flavenes. Alternatively, reductive cyclization of chalcones affords the compounds. These may also be prepared by condensation of o-(substituted methyl)phenols with styrene derivatives. Pharmaceutical formulations and methods for the administration of the compounds are described.
