A reduction assembly, attachable to a torque limiting device, comprising a drive shaft having an input segment, an eccentric segment, and an output segment, wherein the input segment and the output segment each have a centerline running along a same first axis, and wherein the eccentric segment has a center line running along a second axis, the second axis being parallel to the first axis and positioned a first distance away from the first axis. The assembly further comprising a disk assembly having a disk with a body, a plurality of lobes positioned concentrically on the body, and an opening extending through the body, the opening configured to slidably engage the eccentric segment of the drive shaft. The assembly further comprising a disk receptacle configured to engage with the disk, the receptacle having a floor and a wall with a plurality of protrusions extending from the wall, wherein the number of the plurality of protrusions is equal to one more than the number of the plurality of lobes on the disk.

Hypocycloid speed buffer

A latch and catch arrangement is disclosed, whereby a sleeve supporting a flexible hinge with an extended finger is oriented over a fluid connection to a socket guide. The sleeve is oriented to the tool collar to place a flexible hinge and finger over the bearing guide. The finger moves upward when a tool is inserted into a tool socket, and the flexible hinge, properly oriented by the alignment catch/latch, keeps the finger in the tool socket while allowing necessary movement to insert and remove a tool.

Flexible connection systems

A substrate is physically attached to the terminals of multiple different power sources. The substrate includes multiple electrical conductors. Each of the electrical conductors is immobilized along its length relative to the substrate. The electrical conductors include interconnect lines and sensing lines. The interconnect lines provide electrical communication between the power sources. At least one of the sensing lines carries an electrical signal indicating a voltage across one or more of the power sources. Electronics that are immobilized on the substrate employ the electrical signal to determine the voltage across the one or more power sources.

A pressure capsule embedded in a pacemaker lead to monitor intracardiac chamber pressure is described. This pressure monitor capsule provides highly accurate pressure readings while insuring a high integrity seal against bodily fluids and tissue growth. The capsule is intended to be embedded into a pacemaker cardiac lead or a catheter with the distal (Tip) isolation diaphragm sensing pressure, coupling the pressure through an air column to a protected sensing MEMS device and providing a secure fluid seal to the lead walls. The proximal (Back) end of the capsule provides the electrical interface through the lead to the pacemaker pulse generator.
