A sharps kit for percutaneous catheterization is formed as a flat housing with openings. The interior space is filled moisture adsorbing material such as sponge and silica gel. Hypodermic needles are inserted in openings of the housing and extending into the interior space. At least some of the needles can be flushed directly into the housing and they are wiped as they are inserted. The needles are provided with a luer lock with which they can be lockingly attached to a syringe. The housing has two protective conical shields pointed towards the openings.

A milking machine pulsation control includes a microcontroller which generates a pulse width modulated drive signal to control current to pulsator valves, with a high current for pull-in and a lower current for holding. The pulse width modulated drive signal is based on line voltage and compensated for supply frequency. A zero crossing circuit controls internal switching at zero volts to reduce noise. A watchdog circuit resets the computer in the event of latch-up as a result of circuit transients. An over-current shut-down circuit the switches that operate the valve. Synchronism is provided with other pulsation controls. Operator input switches and visual displays are multiplexed to the microcontroller.

A pipe connecting structure is constituted by a milk tap having an aperture to be aligned with a corresponding opening arranged at the top of a milk delivery pipe, and a slide valve for opening and closing said aperture, and a plug-in metal fitting removably fitted to said milk tap and including an elbow pipe. The slide valve includes a slide valve carriage having a substantially circular valve sliding hole and transversal collar insertion holes disposed along the lateral sides of the valve sliding hole, a pair of guide pins projecting outwardly from the bottoms of the respective collar insertion holes, a pair of guides projecting outwardly in a direction opposite to that of the guide pins, a pair of holders for slidably holding the guides collars with tapered leading ends fitted to the respective guide pins of the valve carriage, and coil springs arranged between the collars and the bottoms of the collar insertion holes.

The invention relates to an apparatus for implementing the automatic measurement of a spinning saw blade's lateral deformation or deflection otherwise known as 'flutter.' The apparatus comprises a mounting means for rotating the saw blade and a detector means for measuring the flutter of the saw blade and generating an electrical signal in response. A second means measures the spin of the rotating saw blade in order to provide a visual output signal indicating flutter as a function of rotational speed.

Shims are selectively added to, in one form of the invention, or removed from, in another form of the invention, the space between a cutter body and a circular saw blade in a cutter tool assembly for cutting a round on wood products, to compensate for the change in cutting radius that occurs when the tool is sharpened.

Cutter head assembly

A cutter assembly for forming a raised wooden panel having secured together a saw blade and a winged cutter body. The blade has a substantially greater number of teeth than the number of cutter wings, whereby a greater number of chip loads can be removed at the raised portion of the panel per revolution of the assembly than at the portion formed by the wings. The assembly forms a smooth cut.
