The invention provides a method and product for mitigating or eliminating malodor(s) with an aqueous liquid deodorizing composition, in which said composition contains about 0.1-3% water soluble/dispersible polymer, about 0.01-5% fragrance, about 1-20% water soluble/dispersible volatile solvent, and, the remainder, water.

Method for eliminating malodors

An improved cleaning composition is provided for shower and tub surfaces which is of the &ldquo;shower rinsing&rdquo; type, requiring no scrubbing, wiping, or immediate rinsing. The composition comprises: (a) a glycoside surfactant, the total amount of said surfactant being present in a cleaning effective amount; (b) a chelating agent, said chelating agent present in an amount effective to enhance bathroom soil removal in said composition; and (c) the remainder, water. A solvent such as isopropyl alcohol may also be added. The employment of a glycoside surfactant, especially one having an HLB value of greater than 13, remarkably improves the performance of such a shower rinsing composition both with respect to surface appearance streaking and filming and also bathroom soil and soap scum removing ability.

Shower rinsing composition

An improved cleaning composition is provided for shower and tub surfaces which is of the 'shower rinsing' type, requiring no scrubbing, wiping, or immediate rinsing. The composition comprises: (a) a glycoside surfactant, the total amount of said surfactant being present in a cleaning effective amount; (b) a chelating agent, said chelating agent present in an amount effective to enhance bathroom soil removal in said composition; and (c) the remainder, water. A solvent such as isopropyl alcohol may also be added. A cleaning composition for carpets, rugs, and the like is provided. The dispensable cleaner includes: a) an effective amount of an organic solvent having a Hansen solubility parameter of less than about 10; b) an effective amount of an emulsifying or dispersing agent; c) an effective amount of a source of hydrogen peroxide; and d) the balance being water. Emulsifying or dispersing agents that are surfactants having an HLB of less than about 10 are particularly suited for removing oily soil from absorbent or adsorbent surfaces. Optional components include sequestering agents, fragrances, builders and soil retardants.

A stable liquid peracid precursor composition for delivering a bleaching and cleaning material is provided in which the liquid peracid precursor composition combines a dispersion medium which comprises a stabilizing effective amount of a liquid matrix and an emulsifier, and a dispersed phase that comprises a peracid precursor. The bleaching and cleaning material comprises either a hydrophobic or hydrotropic generated mono- or diperoxyacid, or mixtures thereof.

The salt is carried by, coated with, or admixed with a solid particulate such as silica gel, silicic acid, silicate, aluminum oxide, clay, aluminum silicate, or mixtures thereof.

A silver recovery system including a container having an inlet and an outlet, a core member positioned within the container, a filler material adjacent to the core member and being of a metal above silver in the electromotive force series, and a non-metallic mesh material positioned within 3/32 of an inch from an exterior surface of the filler material. The mesh material has a mesh size suitable for allowing water to pass therethrough. A securing member extends around the exterior surface of the mesh material so as to maintain the mesh material in surface-to-surface contact with the filler material. The mesh material generally surrounds the exterior surface of the filler material. The core member has a central tubular member with a plurality of openings formed radially through a wall thereof. A non-reactive material is affixed within the central tubular member so as to allow silver to plate thereon.
