An intermediate bulk container (IBC) system including a base and walls, and having an interior space. The system comprises a drain in the base or in a wall, a liner bag having a liner bag drain couplable to the drain in the base or in a wall, and a door coupled to the wall by a hinge and shaped to cover an opening in the wall. The opening extends from a top of the wall. The hinge is coupled to the door to allow the door to rotate into the interior space. A stop prevents the door from rotating beyond the wall. The system may be used by rotating the door into the interior space to expose the opening, reaching through the opening and operatively coupling the liner bag drain at the drain in the base or in a wall, and rotating the door to cover the opening.

A multi-drawer file cabinet having an upper cabinet that may be stacked on top of a lower file cabinet is provided. The lower cabinet includes a top surface having a peripheral edge with a first perimeter. The upper cabinet includes a base with a sidewall. The sidewall has a peripheral edge with a second perimeter. The second perimeter is larger than the first perimeter so that the sidewall fits around the peripheral edge of the top surface of the first cabinet. The cabinets include an extendable drawer assembly having a pair of slide members slidably positioned between a pair of outer tracks formed in a casing and tracks formed in a drawer frame. Furthermore, a locking assembly is associated with a recess in the casing and a ledge of a drawer head to allow the drawer assembly to remain in a locked position even if the cabinet sustains fire damage.

A locking mechanism for an enclosure is provided. The enclosure comprises a base including a locking groove formed therein, and a lid pivotally coupled with the base having a lock bore formed therein. The lock mechanism is mounted in the lock bore and includes a pin that is selectively positioned within the locking groove to secure the lid to the base. Also provided is a molding device and method for forming the lock bore. The mold device includes a base member with a pair of arms having a mold protrusion and a lower cam surface. The molding device also includes a housing having a pair of mold protrusion openings. The mold protrusions selectively extend outwardly through mold protrusion openings when a wedge engages the lower cam surfaces on the arms, wherein the arms spread apart from one another to form a pair of snap grooves in the lock bore.

This system allows a lock to be snap fit into an escutcheon plate in a secure mount that holds the lock irremovability in place in a proper position so that it cannot rotate or slide axially inward or outward. The lock socket has a pair of alignment flats to receive the lock in a proper orientation and an opposed pair of resilient snap locks. The resilient snap locks are free to move radially in and out. The lock barrel has a cam surface leading up to the diameter that fits in the lock socket. The diameter includes a pair of alignment flats and an opposed pair of snap lock flats. As the lock is inserted, the cam surface spreads open the resilient snap locks. These pass over the retainer lip and snap into the snap lock flats where the snap locks retain the lock barrel against axial movement.

This support arm assembly for connection between a safe's lid and base includes a bracket for connection to the base and a linear support arm that connects between the bracket and lid. The bracket includes a side face adapted for connection to the inside of the base. An upward facing side of the bracket includes a linear slot that is parallel to the side of the safe when the bracket is mounted. The support arm has a generally flat planar configuration that is adapted for placement through the slot transverse to the upward facing side of the bracket. The support arm has an upper end pivotally connected to the lid and a lower end having a bend that prevents it from being withdrawn from the slot. The lower end also has an abrupt notch adjacent the bend that is adapted to interlock with the slot to hold the lid open.

This lockable latch with catch for use with briefcase type fireproof safes allows the user to carry the safe by its handle (briefcase style) without the lid being locked to the body. It has both a latch and a catch that can pivot or move away from their engagement positions in a plane parallel to, and within, the body of the safe. A release button pivots the latch away from its engagement position and thereby unlatches the latch. Alternatively, a locking member can be interposed so as to prevent the latch from pivoting away from its position of engagement with the catch when the safe is locked. When the locking member is engaged and the latch is thereby locked into engagement position, the ability of the catch to temporarily pivot or move out of the way of the latch still allows the safe lid to snap shut.

A door bushing system includes bushings formed as part of a molded resin door jamb in an insulated steel shell safe door. The mold for the door jamb is designed to form as many bushings as are required and can also form stubs or sleeves for mounting other safe components. The bushings can support parts of such components as combination locks, key locks, and door handles. The combination lock and the handle have spindles whose opposite ends have identical configurations to facilitate assembly. The spindles are also made from resinous material to reduce heat transmission and to allow attachment by insert molding. Because the bushings are installed automatically with the door jamb, this door bushing system eliminates the need for separate installation of bushings after assembly of the door, ensuring proper alignment and reducing costs.
