A coating precursor slurry is provided, along with its methods of formation and use. The coating precursor slurry may include an organic binder comprising a polymeric component and a hardening reagent; an inorganic binder comprising an aluminum-nitrogen compound, a barium-containing organic compound, a nickel-containing organic compound, an ammonia polyphosphate, and phosphorus pentoxide; active components comprising Mo, Te, and graphite; and a solvent.

High temperature dry film lubricant

A protective cover for a reinforcing bar including a collar structure defining a perimeter portion and having an open end for receiving the end of a rebar. A cap portion is connected to the collar structure oriented substantially perpendicularly to the collar structure and including a support portion formed integrally with the collar structure. The cap portion further includes a barrier plate supported on the support portion and defining an exposed upper surface of the cover. In one embodiment, a reinforcing plate is disposed beneath the barrier cover and defines an lower surface lower surface within an area defined by the perimeter portion of the collar structure.

A method enables a structural cover for a gas turbine engine to be manufactured. The method includes forming a torroidial body including an integrally-formed windage cover portion and a seal flange portion, and forming a plurality offastener openings extending from a forward side of the torroidial body to an aft side of the torroidial body, such that when installed in the gas turbine engine, the windage cover portion facilitates shielding the fastener openings from a gas flow path.

An anchor adapted for being embedded within a concrete sandwich panel to facilitate lifting thereof is disclosed. The anchor includes a neck supporting a head adapted for mating with a conventional lifting assembly. The neck is supported on a body portion adapted for being at least partially embedded within the sandwich panel. The body portion includes a pair of opposing wings extending radially outwardly from a central axis wherein each wing includes an inner portion adapted to be embedded within a wythe of insulation and an outer portion adapted to be embedded within a wythe of concrete.
