A filtration apparatus for use with drainage structures and a method for installing the same are provided. The filtration apparatus has a first grate and a second grate, which, when installed and secured together, establish a filtration barrier between the inlet and bottom of a drainage structure for filtering stormwater runoff entering the drainage structure. The first grate and second grate are secured to internal walls of the drainage structure via anchoring members. The anchoring members allow each of the grates to rotate to facilitate transition of each grate from a hanging to a suspended position. A connecting member secures the first grate and the second grate together so that the grates bisect the cavity of the drainage structure.

Filtration apparatus for use with drainage structures and method for installing the same

Apparatus and method for material distribution, including a drawbar to which is fixedly connected a bucket body. Wheels are attached to the drawbar on opposite sides of the bucket body between an open side and a gate thereof. A lower edge of the open side of the bucket body, which can receive material, is in the form of a cutting blade or teeth. The gate, which is disposed opposite from the open side, can be opened and closed. At least part of a top side of the bucket body forms a platform for an operator. At least one engine is provided and is drivingly connected to the wheels. A handlebar is connected to the bucket body, forward of the platform, for pivoting the bucket body about the wheels so that the cutting blade or teeth can be brought into or out of contact with a surface.

Apparatus and method for material distribution

A radar surveillance system includes a plurality of satellites a plurality of medium earth orbit satellites to provide continuous, long dwell coverage of a region of interest. Each satellite has an antenna having a main reflector and a subreflector electromagnetically coupled to the main reflector. A phased array generates multiple electromagnetic beams positioned so the electromagnetic beams reflect from the subreflector onto said main reflector. The system may be used in determining slow moving targets using a combination of monopulse anomaly and target spectral width measurements. The system also performs synthetic aperture radar imagery and focussed area fast moving target detection using alternating slope linear frequency modulated pulses. The plurality of medium Earth orbit satellites include a self-contained communications system consisting of high bandwidth self-relay crosslinks, high bandwidth downlink, and direct broadcast downlinks for processed data.

An improved plant stand comprising a reservoir having an open top for receiving the base or ball of a plant at least one base member projecting outwardly from said reservoir, a plurality of jam-cleats each mounted adjacent the outer end of a portion of said base member, a retaining member encircling said plant at a desired elevation above the top of said reservoir, a plurality of support lines each having one end connected to a respective location about said retaining member and having the other end clamped by a respective one of said jam-cleats, a fluid supply tank having a hose of sufficient length to allow said tank to be located beyond the branches of a plant mounted in said reservoir and communicating with said reservoir to enable fluid from said supply tank to flow into said reservoir.

There is disclosed a shock absorbing equestrian stirrup including a generally stirrup-shaped rigid structure having a substantially horizontal tread portion with a cushion thereon, two upright side portions joined near their top ends by a support bar and further including a ring of elastomeric energy absorbing material with a diameter somewhat less than the distance between the upright side portions of the stirrup structure, the ring being secured by a bolt in a position just under the support bar. Preferably, the stirrup is provided with a keeper to retain the saddle leathers, or straps, extending down from the saddle in position looped under the elastomeric ring. The keeper takes the form of polypropylene belting looped from the top of the support bar down around the ring and back to the loop of the support bar having on the outside edges thereof lengths of nylon belting secured to form a loop extending horizontally on the outside of the keeper and adapted to receive and retain the saddle leathers or straps as they pass around and under the elastomeric ring. The vertical deflection force characteristic of the elastomeric ring is preferably at least about 200 pounds per inch.
