An object carrier including a housing having a bore with a diametrically larger portion and a diametrically smaller portion, an object keeper having a first and a second end, the first end being initially disposed in the diametrically smaller portion, an actuator assembly configured to move the first end of the object keeper from the diametrically smaller portion to the diametrically larger portion responsive to selected application of pressure, and an object disposed within the object keeper and secured within the object keeper while the first end of the object keeper is in the diametrically smaller portion, the object being released from the object keeper upon the first end of the object keeper moving to the diametrically larger portion. A method for managing an object-based operation downhole of a restriction including pressuring up on the object carrier, withdrawing the first end from the diametrically smaller portion, and releasing the object.

Casing mill, method, and system

A work string and method of performing a downhole operation is disclosed. The work string includes a first tool having a first ball seat configured to activate when a first activation pressure is applied to a plug seated at the first ball seat, and a second tool having a second ball seat configured to activate when a second activation pressure is applied to the plug when seated at the second ball seat, wherein the first activation pressure is different than the second activation pressure. A plug is dropped through a string in a wellbore. The first activation pressure is applied when the plug is at the first tool to activate the first tool. The second activation pressure is applied when the plug is at the second tool to activate the second tool.

Extrudable ball for multiple activations

A connector for a coiled tubing end anchors internally and seals externally. The anchor profile is split with a gap to clear an internal spline without need to remove the spline to allow a seal to enter the coiled tubing since the seal is mounted internally to a sleeve that envelops the end of the coiled tubing. Component relative rotation extends the internal anchor radially against the coiled tubing inner wall to secure the connection with the seal engaged to the coiled tubing outer wall.

A method of treating a wellbore comprises supporting a first tubular member in a housing; coupling a second tubular member to the first tubular member via a connector; the first tubular member, the second tubular member, or both comprising a chemical deployment modular device charged with a plurality of particulates preloaded with a well treatment additive; and deploying the first and second tubular members into the wellbore.
