Systems and methods of providing a V2X communications are generally described. A geographically-limited, operator-independent mapping table is used that maps between groups of V2X applications each associated with a different application category and a different RAT preferred for the V2X application category. Each grouping is based on fulfillment of one or more KP Is for the associated V2X application category. Multiple RA Ts are prioritized if able to fulfill the KP Is. The mapping table is modified based on the RATs supported by the V2X UE. Carrier aggregation is used when simultaneous transmission on different RATs is desired.

Device for and method of radio access technology selection among multiple radio access technologies

For example, an apparatus may be configured to cause an Extremely High Throughput (EHT) wireless communication station (STA) to set a control field including presence signaling information corresponding to a plurality of parameter fields, the presence signaling information configured to indicate, for a parameter field of the plurality of parameter fields, whether the parameter field is to be present or absent in a Quality of Service (QoS) element; and to transmit a frame including the QoS element, the QoS element including the control field, wherein the presence or absence of the plurality of parameter fields in the QoS element is configured according to the presence signaling information in the control field.

For example, an apparatus may be configured to cause an Access Point (AP) to transmit a frame over a wireless communication channel, the frame including a field according to a first Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) version decodable by a wireless communication (STA) of a first STA type, the field configured to indicate to the STA of the first STA type that the wireless communication channel is to be reserved for a reserved duration; and to communicate a low-overhead PPDU with a STA of a second STA type over the wireless communication channel during a Synchronized Transmit Opportunity (S-TxOP), wherein the S-TxOP is within the reserved duration, wherein the low-overhead PPDU is configured according to a second PPDU version decodable by the STA of the second STA type, the low overhead PPDU including a low-overhead preamble excluding one or more preamble fields of the first PPDU version.

Apparatus, system, and method of communication during a synchronized transmit opportunity (S-TxOP)

For example, a wireless communication station (STA) may be configured to determine whether a stream of frames is suitable for out-of-order delivery from a first Medium Access Control layer (MAC-layer) process to a second MAC-layer process, the second MAC-layer process is above the first MAC-layer process; and, based on a determination that the stream of frames is suitable for out-of-order delivery, to deliver to the second MAC-layer process one or more frames of the stream of frames according to an out-of-order delivery scheme.

An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) encodes a management frame to include a quality-of-service (QoS) capability element that includes a QoS information field configured to signal QoS redundancy capability. The EHT STA may set a QoS redundancy bit in the QoS information field of the QoS capabilities element to indicate (i.e., signal) that the EHT STA supports redundancy for QoS data frames. The EHT STA may include an Extended Capabilities element in the management frame and set a new redundancy indicator bit in the Extended Capabilities element to indicate (i.e., signal) that the EHT STA supports redundancy for a select subset of IEEE802.11 management frames.

Provided herein is ultra-low latency (ULL) PHY/MAC design for IEEE 802.11. The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: encode a ULL packet; and cause transmission of the ULL packet to an Access Point (AP) via the interface circuitry in an unlicensed spectrum, wherein a duration of the ULL packet is less than 20 microseconds. Ultra-low latency PHY/MAC design for IEEE 802.11

The application relates to ultra-low latency data transmission in Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs). An apparatus used in a non-Access Point Station (non-AP STA), includes processor circuitry configured to cause the non-AP STA to, when there is urgent data that must be transmitted in uplink without waiting for a scheduled slot: generate a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) from the urgent data; and transmit the PDU on a resource unit pre-assigned for urgent transmission, wherein the resource unit is multiplexed for uplink transmission from multiple non-AP STAs.

Some demonstrative embodiments may include apparatus, system and method of scheduling Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) wireless communications. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless communication Access Point (AP) to allocate at least one Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) enabled (TSN-enabled) Target Wakeup Time (TWT) Service Period (SP) based on one or more timing requirements of a TSN schedule of at least one TSN stream for at least one wireless communication station (STA); to transmit a TWT scheduling message to schedule the TSN-enabled TWT SP, the TWT scheduling message including an indication that the TSN-enabled TWT SP is restricted to only TSN communications; and, during the TSN-enabled TWT SP, to communicate one or more frames of the at least one TSN stream with the at least one STA.

Apparatus, system and method of restricted target wake time (TWT) service period (SP) for sensitive traffic

The application provides a method, method, comprising: a station (STA) sending a first quality of service (QoS) request message to an access point (AP) indicating a requested QoS for a traffic stream from the AP to the STA; the AP receiving the first QoS request message from the STA and sending a first traffic stream applied with the requested QoS to the STA when the requested QoS matches with an existing QoS policy for the STA in the AP or there is no existing QoS policy for the STA in the AP, and the STA receiving the first traffic stream applied with the requested QoS from AP.

Method and apparatus used in WLAN networks

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to latency reduction. The device may set up a plurality of links between an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) and a non-AP MLD. The device may encode a frame for transmission on a first link of the plurality of links between a first AP of the AP MLD and a first STA of the non-AP MLD. The device may identify an indication received at a second STA of the non-AP MLD using an interference mitigation signal. The device may cause to stop the transmission of the frame on the first link based on the indication. The device may identify a second frame on the first link received from the first AP. Mechanisms to reduce the worst-case latency for ultra-low latency applications

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to using redundant frames for time-sensitive networking (TSN). A device may identify an Ethernet frame including a redundancy tag and an Internet Protocol (IP) packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a first Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and a sub-network access protocol (SNAP) header after an 802.11 medium access control (MAC) header and prior to the redundancy tag, the first Wi-Fi frame further including a first encapsulation of the IP packet; generate, based on the Ethernet frame, a second Wi-Fi frame including the redundancy tag and the SNAP header after the 802.11 MAC header and prior to the redundancy tag, the second Wi-Fi frame further including a second encapsulation of the IP packet; transmit the first Wi-Fi frame using a first Wi-Fi communication link; and transmit the second Wi-Fi frame using a second Wi-Fi communication link.

Enhanced redundancy over Wi-Fi for ultra-reliable wireless time-sensitive networking

A device may generate a first frame to be sent on a first link in a multi-link operation (MLO) with an multi-link device (MLD). The device may divide the first frame and the second frame into a first plurality of segments and a second plurality of segments separated by one or more first and second time gaps, respectively. The device may indicate to a first station device having a ULL packet to initiate a transmission of the ULL packet during an earliest time gap on the first link. The device may cause to send the one or more first and second plurality of segments on the first link and second link respectively.

Ultra-low latency medium access control design for 802.11

A multi-link device (MLD) configured for reporting per-port frame replication and elimination for reliability (FRER) capabilities uses a per-Port FRER-capabilities object generated by upper MLD MAC layer to indicate per-Port FRER capabilities of lower layers including lower MAC and PHY layers. The per-port FRER capabilities of the lower layers may be reported using the per-Port FRER-capabilities object to an upper layer such as an FRER layer. The per-Port FRER-capabilities object may indicate at least whether or not a port between the upper MLD MAC layer and the FRER layer supports frame replication and duplication elimination capabilities in the underlying MAC and PHY layers.
