Systems, devices, and methods for access control via a mobile device are described herein. One method includes receiving location information associated with a mobile device in a facility, determining that the mobile device is within a particular distance of an area of the facility based on the location information, determining whether a user of the mobile device is allowed access to the area, and allowing access to the area via a relay associated with the area responsive to a determination that the user is allowed access.

Access control via a mobile device

Providing hospitality via a mobile device is described herein. One method includes determining, by a mobile device, a hospitality preference of a user of the mobile device for a particular location, storing the hospitality preference in a memory of the mobile device, and modifying, by the mobile device, an operation of at least one system device associated with the particular location to provide the hospitality preference responsive to a distance between the mobile device and the particular location exceeding a particular threshold.

Providing hospitality via a mobile device

Systems, devices, and methods for access control via a mobile device are described herein. One device includes instructions stored thereon executable by a processor to receive location information associated with a mobile device in a facility, determine that the mobile device is within a particular distance of an area of the facility based on the location information, receive an indication of a user input by the mobile device, determine whether a user of the mobile device is allowed access to the area, and allow access to the area via a relay associated with the area responsive to a determination that the user is allowed access and the user input.

A system and method are used to connect an installed device to a local premise network, such as a home network provided by a router in the home. A user may use a host device, such as a mobile telephone that is already connected to the home network to provide the home network credentials to the installed device without having to enter the home network credentials manually into the installed device such as a thermostat.
