A shelving assembly includes a first and second support rail each including a plurality of slots. The assembly may further include a shelf configured to connect to the first and second support rails and a bracket connected thereto. The bracket includes a plurality of teeth arranged at a distal end of the bracket and facing away from the shelf. A leave spring may be connected to the shelf and extend from a connection point along a rear edge of the shelf to a side of the shelf. A locking tooth positioned at an end of the leave spring is configured to be inserted into a slot in the first or second support rail to lock the shelf in place. The shelving assembly may further include telescoping support rails. The support rails may be include front faces having slots therein. The front faces of the inner telescoping sections may be offset from the front faces of the outer telescoping sections. The assembly may include an extension bracket configured to connect to a front face of the inner telescoping sections and align with the front face of the outer telescoping sections.

Adjustable shelving assembly

An article support, such as a shelf, is securely attachable at a plurality of locations along a generally vertical support or rail. The article support includes a support-engaging portion having one or more tabs, at least one of which is a locking tab having a forward-extending tooth that engages the vertical support, when the tab or tabs extend through slots in the support. Optionally, a biasing element urges the article away from the support to maintain secure engagement of the locking tab with the support. The resulting shelving system or article support system is resistant to accidental detachment of the article supports from the supports and permits relatively small adjustment intervals for the article supports along the supports.

A modular display assembly for displaying merchandise includes a pair of opposite side members and a plurality of shelves adjustably mounted to the side members. The side members have forward and rearward facing edges, which include a plurality of protrusions spaced therealong. The shelf includes a mounting assembly, which includes a handle and first and second movable arms for mounting the shelf to the side members. The arms are configured to engage at least one of the protrusions to limit vertical movement along the side members when the arms are engaged with the edges of the side members. The shelf is positionable between the side members at a desired location and the handle is movable to move the arms into engagement with the forward and rearward facing edges to substantially clamp the side member between the arms and thus to fixedly secure the shelf to and between the side members.

A point of purchase display stand for displaying products includes shelving, lights, cabinets, signs, baskets, and other items that may be supported on a slot wall positioned in the back of the stand. The slot wall may be made up of horizontal slots that allow the aforementioned items to be positioned at a plurality of vertical locations and a virtually infinite number of horizontal locations. End panels and doors may also be added to the display stand for providing security to the contents of the display stand. The shelves may only require a small amount of rotation to be removed from the slot wall. The shelves may be oriented in a plurality of different angular orientations, and they may be optionally connected with adjacent shelves so that any sagging of a given shelf is transmitted to the adjacent shelves, thereby maintaining the shelves in horizontal alignment with each other.
