Embodiments disclosed herein concern logistic management of gaming supplies for gaming establishments, such as casinos. The logistic management is electronically managed for automated or user-initiated logistic requests for gaming supplies as well as end-to-end monitoring of fulfillment of such requests. The end-to-end monitoring can make use of electronic monitors, electronic notifications and electronic tracking. Consequently, logistic management can efficiently and reliably monitor, deliver and track supplies within a gaming establishment. Additionally or alternatively to managing request for gaming supplies, logistic management can also manage requests, needs or desires for other supplies or services, such as food and beverage services, gaming services, inventory services, entertainment services, customer services, maintenance services, and the like.

A token repository apparatus that facilitates management of tokens is disclosed. The token repository apparatus can receive tokens, capture images and/or other metadata pertaining to the tokens, and retain the tokens in a repository. For example, the tokens can be gaming tokens, and the token repository apparatus can be coupled to a multi-player gaming apparatus (e.g., gaming table) supporting wager-based games. Advantageously, gaming tokens, such as pertaining to table commissions or tips, can be securely and reliably deposited. The imaging and/or metadata pertaining to the tokens can be used to validate the tokens being deposited. The token repository apparatus can also facilitate recording of values of various gaming tokens being deposited.

The electronic control system can present the relevant information on a display device as messages or notifications to dealers, managers and/or players. The electronic control system can also provide or facilitate monitoring of dealer status or actions and/or gaming apparatus status or events, such that the relevant information be presented can signal such status or actions.

Embodiments disclosed herein concern methods and systems for providing wager-based gaming using an electronic gaming machine that mimics a table game. For example, a table game often makes use of physical objects in carrying out a wager-based game. The same physical objects can be represented in the electronic gaming machine. The physical objects have different potential outcomes when used in the wager-based game. The particular potential outcome yielded by the physical objects can be randomized by a randomizing action. In one embodiment, the physical objects can be implemented by one or more reels contained within the electronic gaming machine, and the reels can include reel-stops that represent the different possibilities that the physical objects can yield during a wager-based game.

Using an electronic management system, authentication and authorization of dealers can be provided in a controlled manner that complies with predetermined rules. Gaming devices that are operated by dealers can also be controlled by an electronic management system. Through such electronic control, gaming apparatus can be controlled to be placed in a locked or unlocked condition. The electronic control system can also provide or facilitate monitoring of dealer status and actions and/or gaming apparatus status and events. Further, the electronic control system can provide notification, such as alerts, to dealers, managers and/or players.

System gaming machines may utilize a combination of game software components residing on the gaming machine and those received from the GTDR. A library of preset gaming terminal configurations can be stored at the system database, where each such preset configuration includes specific settings for each of a plurality of gaming terminal setting categories. Gaming terminals can be configured remotely using the GTDR, and possibly one or more of the stored preset gaming terminal configurations.

The game controller is further configured to display at least a portion of the gaming information to the player through the display, wherein the hidden element is not displayed. The game controller is configured to facilitate a data connection between the gaming machine and the portable electronic device through the interface. The game controller is further configured to transmit the hidden element to the portable electronic device.
