An example system may include a processor and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions executable by the processor to determine a type of data to be added to a log file; determine a selected anonymization protocol for the type of the data; and anonymize the data according to the anonymization protocol as the data is added to the log file.

An example of a computer-readable medium to store machine-readable instructions. The instructions may cause a processor to verify a licensing object and determine a license has expired. An application may be controlled based on an expiration parameter specific to the licensing object.

An example graphics system can include a first portion including a graphics driver and graphics hardware and a second portion communicatively coupled to the first portion. The second portion can include a display system communicatively coupled to a GUI application and a shim layer to shield the second portion from failure responsive to failure of the first portion.

Examples associated with credentialed encryption are described. One example method includes receiving an encryption request from a local process via a secure channel. The encryption request includes a credential associated with the local process. Whether the local process is authorized to access an encryption function is verified using the credential. The encryption function specified in the encryption request is performed using a security key unique to a system performing the method. A result of the encryption function is provided to the local process.

Example implementations relate to bandwidth allocation. For example, a system for bandwidth allocation may include a first computing device in communication with an intermediary device and a host. The first computing device may monitor an amount of bandwidth consumed by the first computing device and alter an amount of bandwidth received to the first computing device in response to the amount of bandwidth consumed by the first computing device changing.

An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure is to generate a visual representation of a status of a metric. The visual representation is to be updated according to the granularity during at least a portion of a time period. The visual representation is to depict passage of time along a first dimension, and is to separate the time period into a plurality of time blocks to be depicted as being stacked along a second dimension of the visual representation.

An example method includes presenting a first notification indicating a potential interruption in connectivity between a server and a remote terminal. If the potential interruption is resolved before the expiration of a restart time interval, the first notification is removed. If the potential interruption is not resolved before the expiration of the restart time interval, a second notification is presented, the second notification indicating a loss of connectivity between the server and the remote terminal.

Example embodiments relate to hardware bus redirection switching. In example embodiments, a computing device receives a selection of a new remote desktop protocol to be used for communication with a remote server. The computing device may then selectively enable hardware bus redirection for the new remote desktop protocol based on whether the new protocol supports hardware bus redirection.
