Generally, a linear position monitor including a rotatable member having a toothed periphery configured to directly rotatably engage a longitudinal linear portion of a spiral thread coupled to an elongate member whereby an amount of linear travel of the elongate member directly reversibly rotatably drives the rotatable member operationally coupled to a linear position indicator calibrated to translate rotation of the rotatable member about the rotation axis into an elongate member location value corresponding to a location of the elongate member in the amount of linear travel.

Linear position monitoring system

A fluid flow conditioning conduit for a fluid flow control gate which generates a conditioned fluid flow coupled to a flow meter which measures the velocity of the conditioned fluid flow allowing calculation of the volume of the conditioned fluid flow.

A slide gate having a frame assembly including an intermediate cross member coupled between a first and second gate guide members defining a corresponding pair of side channel elements each containing an elongate side seal which abut opposed ends of an elongate top seal secured to the intermediate cross member to seal a gate slidely engaged in the pair of side channel elements.

Seal system

A caster wheel assembly for a wheeled device, such as a wheelchair, includes a housing suitable for connection to a wheeled device, a caster fork configured to mount a caster wheel for rotation, and a caster bolt connected to the caster fork and inserted into the housing for rotation within the housing. Also included is a damping insert applying a biasing force between the caster bolt and the housing to dampen the rotation of the caster bolt with respect to the housing.

Caster wheel assembly with anti-flutter control

A support comprises a first support member formed for mounting to a wheelchair frame. A second support member is formed to carry a joystick. A pair of bars has first ends and second ends. The first ends are pivotally mounted to the first support member at spaced apart locations. The second ends are pivotally mounted to the second support member at spaced apart locations to form a four-bar pantographic linkage assembly. The four-bar pantographic linkage assembly produces pantographic movement of the second support member with the joystick carried by the second support member between an extended position and a retracted position. A latch mechanism is provided between the pair of bars for releasably securing bars together in either the extended position or the retracted position. The latch mechanism includes a magnet exposed along an inner facing side wall of at least one bar. A steel insert is exposed along an inner facing side wall of the other one of the bars. The magnet cooperates with the steel insert to secure the bars in at least one of the extended or retracted positions.

Adjustable joystick support and wheelchair therewith

A resilient anti-tip wheel suspension includes a wheel coupled to a first mounting bracket. A second mounting bracket is adapted to be rigidly mounted to a wheelchair. Upper and lower bars each have front and rear ends that are pivotally connected to the second mounting bracket and the first mounting bracket, respectively, so as to form a parallelogram configuration.

Anti-tip wheel

A wheelchair swing-arm is adapted to be pivotally connected to a wheelchair base frame and support a wheelchair drive wheel. A fender is supported in a substantially fixed position relative to the wheelchair swing-arm. A method for attaching a fender to a wheelchair includes the steps of providing a wheelchair having a base frame and a swing-arm pivotally connected to the base frame and a drive wheel motor supported by the swing-arm, and supporting a fender in a substantially fixed position relative to the swing-arm.
