A system, for concurrent calculation of resource qualifications (e.g., skills, educational degree, etc) and availability (e.g., availability to work on a project) using text search. The method commences by initiating a flow for requesting resources, the resource request comprising a qualification requirement indication and a time period requirement indication. The method further comprises retrieving candidate resource documents in a manner so as to calculate an overall match score that is based not only on qualifications, but also on availability. The scoring uses a recoded candidate resource document that comprises qualification attributes as well as time period availability to form an overall match score. The recoding can be performed in an administrative flow (e.g., a batch process, and/or a periodically executed update process), and the administrative flow creates recoded candidate resource document that are suited for use with a text search engine capable of processing an extensible markup language document.

Concurrent calculation of resource qualification and availability using text search

A system and method for facilitating comparing or juxtaposing characteristics or attributes of human resources of an enterprise. The example method includes displaying one or more representations of one or more human resources and providing various user options. A first user option enables a user to add a representation of a human resource to a shortlist. A second user option enables a user to initiate a comparison operation based one or more user selected human resources chosen from the shortlist. In a more specific embodiment, the comparison operation results in display of a comparison view that juxtaposes various attributes of human resources being compared. Example attributes include numbers of keyword matches appearing in human resource profiles, availability scores, locations, billing rates, qualification scores, and so on.

Project resource comparison view

A system and method for facilitating determining and displaying search results and accompanying scores in an enterprise computing environment. The example method includes receiving a resource request that includes one or more search criteria. The one or more search criteria includes a specification of one or more keywords and one or more resource qualifications. The method further includes determining, based on the search criteria, a qualification score for each resource indicated in a database of resources; using the qualification score to determine search results responsive to the resource request; and displaying each search result proximate to a qualification score. In a specific embodiment, the method further includes calculating the qualification score by combining components of the qualification score according to an algorithm. The components of the qualification score include a competency component and a keyword component.

Project resource qualification and keyword scoring

A system and method for facilitating displaying search results in an enterprise computing environment. An example method includes determining results of a computer based search in response to a resource request; displaying the results via one or more cards, wherein each of the one or more cards includes information pertaining to a particular search result; and illustrating, in a card, at least a portion of the information via one or more graphics. In a specific embodiment, the one or more graphics include one or more visually coded graphics, including an indicator illustrating a qualification score associated with a human resource, and an indicator illustrating an availability score associated with the human resource.
