A rail assembly is disposed on an opposing side of the panel relative to the door. The bracket engages the rail assembly through the panel to adjust the door between an opened position and a closed position via the rail assembly. The door is configured to a deployed position.

The access opening is aligned with the front opening. A deflector has a rim and a chute. The rim is coupled to the front panel and extends along the front opening. The chute extends from the rim and toward the tub. A bellows is coupled to the deflector and the tub. The bellows extends along an inner edge of the rim and an interior edge of the chute and along the access opening of the tub. The deflector is disposed between the bellows and the front panel.

A deflector extends along at least a portion of the perimeter of the aperture. The deflector extends into an interior of the drum over the bellows.

The rim includes a plurality of hooks where each hook is configured to extend through an aperture and interlock with the cabinet.

A laundry treating appliance includes a chassis defining an interior and having a front panel defining a front panel opening. A rotatable treating chamber is located within the interior and accessible through the front panel opening. A door assembly is mounted to the chassis for movement between opened and closed positions to selectively open or close the front panel opening. The door assembly includes a window or panel slidable between first and second positions.

The chute includes an upper surface that extends at an oblique angle from the rim. A lighting unit has a light source.
