The present disclosure relates to an Improved Ballistic Chain Cutting Device. In general, the device positions a target link from a multi-link chain in the proper placement for a single shot from a firearm to cut or sever the target link. Embodiments of the improved device include a specially designed slot with stepped sidewalls creating a varying width to tightly receive the target link, a curved adjacent link engagement region to better accommodate the semicircular end of a link adjacent the target link, and a curved target link engagement region to better secure the target link within the device.

Ballistic chain cutting device

A system and method for ballistically cutting a multi-link metal chain comprises a chain alignment module that comprises three pins and attaches to the barrel of a firearm. A first pin and a second pin of the module fit on opposite sides of a target link of the chain. A third pin of the alignment module goes through a link adjacent to the target link of the chain. The three pins align the target link so that a bullet exiting the barrel of a firearm impacts a semicircular region of the target link to cause the target link to open.

Ballistic system and method for cutting a multi-link metal chain

A security door breach training system comprising a frame member; a plurality of elongate members, each of the elongate members fixed to the frame member and having a free end spaced from the frame member, the plurality of elongate members including at least one capture member, a first clevis member, and a second clevis member fixed to the frame member opposite the first clevis member; at least one retention bar attached between two of the elongate members and spaced a distance from the frame member; and at least one retaining pin adjacent to the frame member, the at least one retaining pin comprising an elongate element at least partially adjacent to the frame member and having a first end and an opposing second end, a retaining pin socket attached to the elongate element proximal to the first end, and a stub extending from the at least one elongate element proximal to the second end.

Security door breach training system

A security door breach training system comprising a frame, a door attached to the frame, a latch attached to the door having a latching end, a plurality of elongate members fixed to the frame, at least one retaining pin adjacent to the frame and having a stub, a latch-receiving member positioned between the frame member and the stub of the at least one retaining pin, a elongate body having a first end attached to the third surface of the frame member and a free second end; and at least one bar attached between two of the elongate members.

An explosive breach training system comprising a frame having a lock jamb with two opposing ends and an inner surface, first and second opposing frame members connected to the opposing ends of the lock jamb, and a third frame member having ends connected to the first and second frame members opposite of the lock jamb. The frame defines an interior space. A cylindrical elongate member is within the interior space and has ends attached to the first and second frame member at attachment points. A door member has a hinge side and a lock side, and is within a door space at least partially defined by the lock jamb and the portions of the first and second frame members extending between the attachment points and the opposing ends of the lock jamb. A lock bracket is adjacent to the lock jamb, and defines an elongate slot intersecting with a portion of the door space.

Explosive breach training system

An explosive breach training system comprising a frame having a lock jamb with two opposing ends and an inner surface, two wide members connected to the opposing ends of the lock jamb, and a long member having ends connected to the wide members. The frame defines an interior space. A hinge jamb assembly comprises an elongate member within the interior space, the assembly being slidably attached to the frame and moveable between the lock jamb and the long member. A door member has a hinge side attachable to the assembly and a lock side, and fits in a door space defined by the elongate member, the lock jamb, and the portions of the wide members extending between the assembly and the opposing ends of the lock jamb. A lock bracket is adjacent to the lock jamb, and defines an elongate slot intersecting with a portion of said door space.

A door breach training system comprising a first restraint assembly connecting a door to a frame. The door is attached to a lock jamb of the frame with a first restraint assembly that exposes a shear joint to impact from a projectile, such as shotgun round. Another embodiment further comprises attachment of the door to the hinge jamb with at least one second restraint assembly that functionally simulates a typical door hinge and exposes a shear joint to impact from a ballistic round. The preferred embodiment includes replaceable lock panels and hinge panels that are designed to break in a known manner in order to replicate those same failure modes for both door locks and door hinges in typical residential and commercial construction environments.

Door breach training system

A packable battering ram quickly disassembled for transport by two or more persons. In the preferred embodiment, the invention has first and second body members that are symmetrical, but otherwise identically shaped and sized. When assembled, the first and second body members form a lower surface that has a concave portion that approximates the natural curvature of the back of an adult male. The packable battering may be disassembled to distribute the weight between multiple people, yet quickly assembled for use upon arrival at a emergency response location.

Packable battering ram

A tactical foregrip assembly for use with a firearm, the assembly having an independently rotatable grip mount assembly and an independently rotatable light mount assembly. The invention comprises a stationary mount assembly attachable to the receiver of a firearm, a grip mount assembly radially rotatable about and electrically coupled to the stationary mount assembly, and a light mount assembly radially rotatable about and electrically coupled to the stationary mount and engagable with said grip assembly. The present invention allows the operator to provide light to illuminate an area while simultaneously positioning himself in a manner so as to maximally use available cover.

Tactical foregrip assembly

An device for breaching an outwardly opening door and methods for use thereof. The device combines a serrated blade for penetrating the crevice between a door and a doorjamb and an extendable handle with a ratcheting mechanism allowing the operator to remain out of the line of fire when breaching the door. The device may also be used by a single operator by initially driving the blade between the door and doorjamb via a hammering function involving the retraction of the extendable handle combined with the weighted block and thrusting force applied thereto.

Hybrid breaching bar

A door breach training system and related method of use thereof. The system includes a door and frame with replaceable shear pins which are designed to break under known pressures to replicate pressures required to breach doors of varying physical characteristics and lock configurations.
