A dust containment manifold includes an angled, broadened head with one or more openings through which suction is applied to bullets as they fall from a deceleration chamber or bullet trap. The dust containment manifold may be disposed generally beneath the bullet trap and angled so as to reduce the chance that small fragments will enter the bullet trap ventilation system and become lodged in the ventilation filters.

Inductive coupler assemblies for controlling the stray magnetic fields of an inductive coupler to reduce the associated losses are disclosed. This results in reduced attenuation (increased efficiency) of the inductive coupler even in the presence of gaps. The assembly includes an inductive coupler having a housing, a biasing element, and a retention mechanism. The assembly further includes a wire surrounded by a ring of flux channel material disposed in the housing. In some embodiments, the retention mechanism is adapted for removal of the inductive coupler from a pipe joint end. The biasing element may be a circumferential spring disposed between the housing and the pipe joint end. The retention mechanism may be a retention snap ring, press fit, or threaded, to removably couple the housing to the pipe joint end.

A lead collection system and method for reducing the incidence of equipment failures, equipment breakages, and/or safety hazards is provided. The lead collection system may include one or more augers that carry lead to a lead containment barrel. The auger(s) may be equipped with a specialized shear coupling designed such that the shear coupling breaks and stops auger movement before the auger may break. The auger(s) may also be equipped with one or more rotational sensors to detect actual shaft speed and compare it to the inputted speed, and cause a system error if a difference is detected. A lead containment barrel may also be provided, with an ultrasonic sensor for detecting lead fill in the barrel.

Projectile collection system

A door bolt adjustment system for an open-jamb safe having a door jamb and a door bolt configured to extend behind the door jamb with a gap therebetween. The door bolt adjustment system generally comprises a substantially rigid door bolt adjuster, configured to be attached to the inside of the door jamb, and a displacement mechanism, configured to allow adjustment of the position of the door bolt adjuster so as to occupy the gap. The door bolt adjuster includes a flange for contacting a side of the extended safe door bolt, and when the adjuster occupies the gap, the flange is placed in position for secure contact with the extended door bolt, so as to accommodate the alignment of the door bolt.
