An exemplary self-retaining locator member includes a body having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The body includes an engagement area formed in the first surface, an alignment member extending from the first surface, the alignment member including a retention tab, an extension member extending from the second surface, a retention member extending from the extension member, and a stopping member extending from the second surface.

A vehicle, a door assembly for the vehicle and a method of assembling the door assembly are disclosed. A first component includes a first alignment member and a second component is attached to the first component. The second component includes first and second ends spaced along a first axis, and includes first and second side edges spaced along a second axis transverse to the first axis. A trim strip extending to a distal edge, with the second component coupled to the trim strip. A second alignment member attached to the trim strip, with the alignment members engaging each other to attach the trim strip to the first component and orientate the distal edge of the trim strip relative to the first axis such that the distal edge of the trim strip and one of the side edges of the second component substantially align with each other along the first axis.

A cable assembly having a condensation drain provided for the conduit thereof, wherein moisture is enabled to escape the conduit through a drainage opening of the condensation drain, yet the operative interaction between the cable and the conduit of the cable assembly is unaffected by the presence of the condensation drain. The condensation drain may be provided with a drip initiator which assists removal of the moisture from the conduit.

The present invention is a door sealing assembly for sealing a vehicle door to a body. The door includes a frameless door glass and a mirror patch adjacent a front edge of the door glass. The assembly includes a first seal member that is adapted to be attached to the vehicle body and sealingly engages the mirror patch, and a second seal member that is adapted to be attached to the vehicle body and sealingly engages the door glass. A third seal member is adapted to be attached to the mirror patch and sealingly engages the door glass and the second seal member.
