An orthodontic post and pin system for secure attachment of a dental appliance to an alignment wire, which also facilitates quick and easy removal and replacement. The system described herein uses a 'twist-lock' dental post that is rotated onto, and counter-rotated off of, an alignment wire. The dental post includes structural elements to facilitate the twist-lock functionality, as well as structures for accepting a fastener to secure the alignment wire in place and inhibit unintentional or undesired dislodging.

An anti-snoring and sleep apnea device is disclosed in which the device comprises an upper tray structure adapted for receiving upper teeth of a mouth of an individual, a lower tray structure adapted for receiving lower teeth of the mouth of the individual, a first Herbst mechanism connected to the upper tray structure and the lower tray structure, and a second Herbst mechanism connected to the upper tray structure and the lower tray structure, the first and second Herbst mechanisms for adjusting the position of the lower tray structure relative to the upper tray structure.

An orthodontic post and pin assembly including a post structure, being slotted at its back end, for accommodating a pin therethrough, the post includes a further slot into which the wire of an orthodontic appliance may locate, so that when the post and pin assembly are connected onto the wire, and a hybrid screw is tighten within the post, the appliance may become affixed to the wire at the position of its tightening and securement. This eliminates the need for removal of the wire, when a different or different size orthodontic appliance needs to be installed.

A mandibular repositioning device having a lower assembly having a buccal tube having a slot opening formed therein with the tube being connected to a molar bracket that fits over a molar, a lower wedge having a head portion having an inner contact surface, and an integral extension portion with the extension portion being adapted for insertion into the slot opening for adjustment purposes, and an upper assembly having a buccal tube having a slot opening formed therein with the tube being connected to a molar bracket that fits over a molar, an upper wedge having a head portion having an outer rounded contact surface, and an integral extension portion, the extension portion being adapted for insertion into the slot opening for adjustment purposes. Set screws are adapted for contacting the extension portions for holding the upper wedge and lower wedge in place with the outer rounded contact surface bearing against the inner contact flat surface for repositioning a mandibular jaw.
