A method for molding a magnetic material into a rotor stack, including providing a polymer melt including magnetic compound particles and a polymer binder, providing a rotor including a plurality of cavities, the rotor being arranged in a mold having a mold cavity surface, and providing a gap between the outer periphery of the rotor and the mold cavity surface. The method also includes filling a first volume of the polymer melt into the cavities of the rotor at a first pressure and filling a second volume of the polymer melt into the rotor at one or more second pressures, the one or more second pressures being less than the first pressure and above an ambient pressure.

Molding parameters for injection molded rotor production

A conduit seal that serves to connect conduits between different environments while providing sufficient insulation to mitigate condensation and molding issues. The conduit seal can also provide grounding continuity with an electrical conducting insert, thereby providing electrical continuity across a thermal barrier between the environments. The conduit seal includes a through-hole connector including a body, a first end, and a second end, a compliant member, and a locking member. The body has an exterior surface, and the body defines an internal cavity. The compliant member is disposed circumferentially around the exterior surface of the through-hole connector. The compliant member is connected to the locking member and is configured to seal the locking member to a barrier.

An insert device for sealing a conduit, wherein at least one component of the insert device is configured to separate and position at least one wire in the conduit in order to create a space or inner volume for a sealant to be introduced thereinto. The insert device can have a nozzle configured to allow precise injection of the sealant into the inner volume. The insert device can be operated for quick and reliably repeatable sealing of conduits.

The present disclosure relates to a motor. The motor can include a stator defining an interior space, a rotor disposed in the interior space of the stator. The rotor can include a body defining a structure and a plurality of magnets disposed in the plurality of cavities. In some embodiments, the structure defines a plurality of cavities in the body of the rotor, the plurality of cavities includes at least a first cavity and a second cavity, the first cavity is spaced radially outward from the second cavity, and a thickness of the first cavity is larger than a thickness of the second cavity. A method for manufacturing a multicomponent permanent magnet, and a multicomponent permanent magnet are proposed. The first magnet and the second magnet are connected mechanically, wherein the connection is electrically conductive with an adjusted electrical resistivity.

A sintered magnet, the sintered magnet including a core portion, a shell portion arranged at an outer part of the sintered magnet, and a diffusion portion arranged at least partially between the core portion and the shell portion. The shell portion has a coercivity, which is at least 30 kA/m larger than the coercivity of the core portion. In the diffusion portion, the coercivity is not less than the coercivity of the core portion and not larger than the coercivity of the shell portion and the value of the coercivity gradually increases from the core portion towards the shell portion. The thickness of the core portion is not less than 1 mm and the total thickness of the shell portion and the diffusion portion is at least 5 mm.

A modular pulley assembly for a continuous belt conveyor can be assembly from a plurality of modular pulley disks that can be axially aligned and abut against each other to provide pulleys of differing lengths per demand. The modular pulley disks can be made from a non-metallic material such as a polymer and can manufactured by a suitable molding process. Making the modular pulley disks from non-metallic materials enables the disks to be formed with structural geometries such that the assembled pulley is structurally more rigid and can better distribute torsional loads and momentum from the belt to the support shaft.
