A riding lawn care vehicle may include a frame, an engine, a steering assembly, a support platform and a front platform. At least a pair of drive wheels may be operably coupled to the frame. The engine is operably coupled to the frame via an engine platform. The engine is disposed between the drive wheels to selectively provide drive power to the drive wheels via respective hydraulic pumps. The steering assembly includes control levers operably coupled to respective drive wheels via the respective hydraulic pumps. The steering assembly enables steering of the lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the drive wheels responsive to positioning of the control levers. A neutral position of the control levers may be adjusted via a neutral position adjustment assembly.

A riding lawn care vehicle may include a frame, an engine, a steering assembly, a support platform and a front platform. At least a pair of drive wheels may be operably coupled to the frame. The engine is operably coupled to the frame via an engine platform. The engine is disposed between the drive wheels to selectively provide drive power to the drive wheels via respective hydraulic pumps. The steering assembly includes control levers operably coupled to respective drive wheels via the respective hydraulic pumps. The steering assembly enables steering of the lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the drive wheels responsive to positioning of the control levers. The support platform is operably coupled to the frame at a rear portion of the lawn care vehicle. The front platform is operably coupled to the frame forward of the engine platform. The front platform supports the hydraulic pumps.

A lawn care device may include a cutting deck housing at least one blade, a rotatable shaft, and a blade mount operably coupled to the rotatable shaft. The blade mount may include at least one engagement slot configured to enclose at least a portion of the at least one blade. The blade mount may further include at least one protruding member disposed within the engagement slot to secure the at least one blade within the engagement slot responsive to insertion of the at least one blade into the engagement slot.

A lawn care device may include a cutting deck housing at least one blade, a rotatable shaft, and a blade mount operably coupled to the rotatable shaft. The blade mount may include a clasp to secure the at least one blade within an engagement slot of the blade mount. The cover assembly may form a cavity with at least one sidewall extending substantially around a periphery of the blade mount.

Riding lawn mowers may utilize friction drives configured with a variable normal force between frictional components. In a riding lawn mower, an internal combustion engine may be coupled to a differential via a friction drive, wherein the friction drive is configured with a variable normal force in order to provide improved power transfer and/or shifting performance.

A lawn mower has a dual-tubular frame for shock absorption. The dual-tubular frame has two parallel, longitudinally-extending tubular structures with curved portions allowing for flexion. A seat bracket interconnects the tubular structures. An engine is mounted to the tubular structures rearward of the seat bracket.

A riding lawn mower may include a cutting deck coupled to a cutting blade, an engine, a deck drive coupled to the engine to receive power for operating the cutting blade, a ground drive coupled to the engine to receive power for movement of the riding lawn mower over ground, and a friction drive coupling the deck drive to the engine.
