An exercise machine providing self spotting for free weights while providing full range motion for free weight articulation.

Exercise machine

A self-spotting system for free weights enables the constructive use of such free weights without the need for a spotter. Using a free weight holder sliding along a rail, an adjacent free weight support provides and determines the lowermost travel of the associated free weight. In alternative embodiments, a parallelogram design for the free weight holder is set forth as well as a handle system which may optionally incorporate free weights and allow the use of the self-spotting system for single weights in conjunction with weights coupled to the handle system by a line or cable. Additionally, weight bar restraining and locking systems are set forth which provide secure means by which weightlifting bars can be secured into place, lowering the risk of slippage, dropping and the associated injury and damage that may occur when weights slip or fall.

Versatile exercise machine

A self-spotting free weight device wherein the free weights are retained by arms which are pivotal in the horizontal plane of the arm and wherein the supporting arms are also pivotally supported from a support structure such that they move in a plane perpendicular to the plane in which the free weights may be moved.

Exercise device

An about vertical tile cutting saw having a structure that orientates the ceramic tile for cutting in an about vertical plane and wherein the saw blade cutting means is disposed rearward of the ceramic tile to the cut, thereby allowing for use of the tile saw in close quarters.

A unique table saw having a roller mounted table operatively associated with a roller mounted carriage operatively secured to a supporting frame which allows the table and associated carriage to move outwardly from the supporting frame to allow the cutting of larger workpieces than could ordinarily be accomplished on the ordinary, conventional table saw.

Tile saw having improved rollers

A paint brush protection device in the form of a sheath is configured for containing the bristles and the ferrule portion of a paint brush, for keeping the bristles in proper shape and alignment. The sheath has a bristle-holding portion with an expansible bottom opening for receiving a paint brush in a handle-first orientation, and a ferrule-holding portion with an expansible top opening for allowing the handle to extend outwardly from the sheath, and for allowing the paint brush positioned within the sheath to be removed therefrom. The sheath includes front and rear sheath halves that are joined together along their sides for a portion of the length below the top opening. The part of the sheath where the sheath halves are joined together forms the ferrule-holding portion of the sheath. Between the ferrule-holding portion and the bottom opening, the sheath halves are unjoined and are resiliently separable from each other to allow the expansion of the bottom opening to receive a paint brush. The part of the sheath where the sheath halves are separable forms the bristle-holding portion of the sheath. The top opening is defined between an opposed pair of flexible flaps that are configured for engaging the handle of a paint brush positioned in the sheath, thereby securing the paint brush within the sheath. The flaps are configured to allow the brush to be pulled out of the sheath through the top opening by grasping and pulling the brush handle.

Paint brush protection sheath

A compact tile saw which is especially adaptable for cutting of large-sized tiles wherein the table supporting the tile is movable towards the cutting saw, while at the same time the cutting saw is positionable in one of two positions of either being stationary or in moving in unison towards the table supporting the tile to be cut.

Saw having movable table and saw blade

A saw with a compact frame that permits the cutting of large workpieces and that can be repeatedly operated repeatedly without requiring manual activation of an on/off switch. A special pivoting support arm pivots outwardly away from a motor assembly to allow the cutting of large workpieces while allowing the size of the saw to remain relatively compact and portable. An automatic power switch mechanism also is provided to automatically turn on the saw motor upon the placement of a workpiece adjacent to the saw blade. The saw table can be slid beyond the frame for the cutting of large workpieces.

Compact motorized table saw

A bowl for supplying drinking water to a pet. The inventive device includes a fluid reservoir having an open bowl projecting therefrom. A shared wall extends between the reservoir and the bowl and includes a fluid aperture directed therethrough. A valve assembly is mounted to the reservoir and can be manually operated to open and close the fluid aperture so as to permit transferring of fluid between the reservoir and the bowl.

Portable pet bowl

A teething ring device for massaging the gums of an infant. The inventive device includes an annular teething ring having a plurality of radial extension members projecting therefrom. A vibration handle is rotatably mounted to the teething ring for imparting vibrations thereto so as to massage the gums of a teething infant. The rotatable coupling of the teething ring to the vibration handle permits the ring to rotate relative to the handle in response to the vibration imparted thereto.

Vibrating teething ring device

A device for engaging and twisting a lock of hair. The inventive device includes a comb for engaging the hair. A rotating assembly is releasably coupled to the comb for rotating the comb during engagement with the hair to twist the hair into an elongated bundle configuration.

Rotating comb device

A sprayer for dispensing a chemical repellant. The inventive device includes a main body positionable within the palm of a hand. A nozzle conduit projects from a medial portion of the main body to extend between two fingers of the hand. A dispensing assembly within the main body permits selective dispensing of a chemical repellant through the nozzle conduit to repel an attacker.

Palm held pepper sprayer

An improved portable misting device comprising a portable liquid holding container and a spray arm projecting upward from the liquid holding container and being retractable and extendable to a desired elevation above the top of the liquid holding container. A single small aperture misting spray head is mounted on one end of the spray arm. A rocker arm is pivotally mounted adjacent one side of the top of the liquid holding container and is linked to the spray arm to cause horizontal rotation of the spray head. On top of the liquid holding container is a flat table upon which accessories may be placed. An electric motor, for pumping liquid from the liquid holdiong container through the misting spray head, is located within the main housing. A pressure-actuated switch is located under the rocker arm and the pump is activated when light pressure is applied to the rocker arm.

Portable misting device having a rottable spray arm

A spirit level comprising a hollow rectangular bar of extruded material formed with at least one recess for receiving a bubble tube and having end caps for closing the ends of said bar; together with a sealed capsule, mountable adjacent said recess, containing a bubble tube and adjustment mechanism therefor.
