Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing dynamic border gateway protocol ('BGP') host route generation based on domain name system (“DNS”) resolution. In various embodiments, a computing system may receive, from a user device via a first network, a request to establish a communications link with an external device via a second network that is separate from the first network, based on a first uniform resource identifier (“URI”) indicative of a network location of the external device. The computing system may query a DNS resolver for an Internet Protocol (“IP”) address corresponding to a valid current IP address, based on the first URI, and may advertise the IP address and/or a route based on the IP address. A communications link may be established between the user device and the external device based on the IP address and/or the route.

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing dynamic border gateway protocol ('BGP') host route generation based on domain name system ('DNS') resolution. In various embodiments, a computing system may receive, from a user device via a first network, a request to establish a communications link with an external device via a second network that is separate from the first network, based on a first uniform resource identifier (&#x201c;URI&#x201d;) indicative of a network location of the external device. The computing system may query a DNS resolver for an Internet Protocol (&#x201c;IP&#x201d;) address corresponding to a valid current IP address, based on the first URI, and may advertise the IP address and/or a route based on the IP address. A communications link may be established between the user device and the external device based on the IP address and/or the route.

A route selection system includes a hub controller in communication with multiple network hubs of a first network domain in which each of the hubs are in communication with a corresponding multiple routers of a second network domain. The hub controller is executed to obtain at least one performance measurement associated with a route terminating at the network hub, generate a border gateway protocol (BGP) advertisement with a preference value that is proportional to the received performance measurement, and transmit the generated advertisement to the network hub, the network hub forwarding the advertisement to the router configured in the other network domain. Upon receipt of the advertisements, the second network domain selects one of the routers for processing the route through the second network domain according to the performance measurement included in the advertisement.

The inventive method is a method for synchronizing computerized video images with an audio output. The audio output may be in the form of an audio track stored on a compact disk. The synchronization method uses a timing index which corresponds to the audio track on the compact disk. The computer repeatedly reads the audio timing index and compares it to a data table of known video timing codes. Each time the compact disk timing index is read and determined to be greater than or equal to the current value from the data table the next video image is shown.
