An arrowhead assembly comprises a connector element configured to connect to a forward end of a shaft; an arrowhead body movably connected to the connector element; the arrowhead body including a center portion and a plurality of blades each extending from the center portion; the center portion movable axially with respect to the connector element between a forward position and a rearward position; when in the forward position the center position being constrained against lateral movement with respect to the connector element; and when in the rearward position the center position being enabled to move laterally with respect to the connector element.

Accessories may be mounted using a quick-detachable multi-purpose accessory mounting platform. The platform may include one or more clamps to receive an object, such as a firearm. The platform also may include at least one recessed mounting pad, at least one rear shelf, and other surfaces to provide different mounting points for accessories.

Reinforcement systems for additive manufacturing are disclosed. In some embodiments, the reinforcement systems include a print head assembly including a print head that is configured to form a plurality of layers of an additively manufactured article, and a reinforcement head. The reinforcement head may be configured to form at least one reinforcement element on or within a working layer of the plurality of layers formed by the print head. Additive manufacturing systems including such reinforcement systems and methods of additive manufacturing using those reinforcement systems are also disclosed.

One example of an attachment clip includes a base portion, a retracting portion, and a biasing element. A first end of the base portion is configured to attach to a thermal breaching device. A first void of the base portion runs through the base portion and is configured to admit a nozzle of the thermal breaching device. A first end of the retracting portion is configured to retractably seat onto the second end of the base portion. A second void of the retracting portion is configured to admit a portion of the nozzle that extends through the base portion. The second void runs through the retracting portion. The retracting portion comprises a slot dimensioned for receiving at least one of a plurality of target objects. The biasing element is configured to draw the first end of the retracting portion toward the second end of the base portion.

An improved sub-sonic cartridge for small arms containing a bullet whose Calibers (length/diameter) value is 6.0 or greater, which imparts to the bullet substantially greater kinetic energy than smaller and lighter sub-sonic bullets. The greater kinetic energy of the bullet aids in cycling the action of semi and fully automatic firearms as well as imparts greater kinetic energy to the target upon impact. The bullet incorporates an fin unit on the aft portion of the bullet; the aft fin unit is rotationally independent of the rotational state of the bullet in flight. The fin unit forces the Center of Pressure rearward of the Center of Gravity for added stability and accuracy in flight. Volume vacant of propellant within the cartridge shell may be occupied with a durable and heat resistant material to aid in consistent and reliable propellant burn when fired.

A breaching device for cutting through a substrate. There are several embodiments of the breaching device. In one embodiment, the device includes a hub assembly with a rotatable ring and a plurality of RM feed assemblies attached to the ring. In another embodiment, the device includes a disc, wherein the disc is rotatable and includes a plurality of slots, a shaft joined to the disc about which the disc rotates and a plurality of RM feed assemblies attached to the disc and arranged in the slots thereof. In another embodiment, the device includes a plurality of carts linked together, wherein each of the carts includes a cart body to which is coupled to an idler wheel, a wheel with an in-wheel motor and a platform and for each cart, a RM feed assembly retained on the platform. The RM feed assemblies include ejecta nozzles that may be positioned at selectable angles.

One example of a system includes a reactive material, a nozzle, a liner, and an igniter in a breaching tool suitable for hand-held operation. The nozzle includes at least one exit aperture and is configured to direct a discharge produced by combustion of the reactive material. The liner is disposed around the reactive material and connected to the nozzle. The liner is configured to confine the discharge to the at least one exit aperture. The igniter is disposed within the liner and in contact with the reactive material.

Torch for cutting or perforation

A breaching device for non-explosively cutting through a substrate, such as the leg of an offshore oil platform or other large cylinder from within the leg or large cylinder. The device includes a ring and a plurality of Reactive Material (RM) feed assemblies. Each RM feed assembly is arranged around the ring and includes an extendible nozzle. Each RM feed assembly includes a cavity that may contain RM that when ignited exits the nozzle. The nozzles are spring loaded and arranged to extend toward the inner surface of the substrate to be cut when the ring is rotated and/or oscillated. This arrangement results in a substantially uniform cut of the substrate from within with much less danger, material, equipment and cost than is currently required to remove large water-based structures.

A device for either or both of metal cutting and metal welding. The device is configured to a standard service side arm and other guns and/or other types of tools to cut and/or weld metals for the purposes of breaching and welding metals in a range of applications, including in air and underwater, without degrading the primary purposes of the gun or other tools. In one embodiment, the device includes a reactive material cartridge and a nozzle adapted for attachment to a muzzle. In another embodiment, the device includes a muzzle-loading tube including the reactive material and a nozzle configured to shape the reactive material exiting the tube.
