A method of treating the hair including providing a concentrated hair care composition in a foam dispenser. The concentrated hair care composition includes one or more silicones, perfume, and less than 6% high melting point fatty compounds. The method also includes dispensing the concentrated hair care composition from the foam dispenser as a dosage of foam; applying the foam to the hair; and rinsing the foam from the hair. The foam has a density of from about 0.025 g/cmto about 0.40 g/cmwhen dispensed from the foam dispenser. The one or more silicones form a silicone layer that has a Targeted Deposition Index of from about 0.8 to about 1.6.

The pre-aerated concentrated hair care composition has a density of from about 0.15 g/cmto about 0.75 g/cmwhen dispensed from the aerosol foam dispenser.

The present invention is directed to glycyrrhetinimidyl hydroxyproline alkyl ester compounds and their protected derivatives and cosmetically acceptable salts thereof, methods of making the compounds, cosmetic compositions containing at least one of the compounds and methods of using the same to promote collagen production in human skin. The compounds and cosmetic compositions of the invention provide various advantageous properties to the human skin.
