A sensor platform includes a programmable microcontroller to execute programming associated with one or more sensors in order to receive data from the one or more sensors and generate reports based on the data, and to enter a power-down mode in the absence of the data. The sensor platform also includes first and second transceivers. The first transceiver is configured to establish wireless connectivity with user devices using a first wireless protocol and to receive the programming from one or more of the user devices using the first wireless protocol. The second transceiver is configured to transmit the reports to a gateway using a second wireless protocol that is lower power, longer range, and/or lower fidelity than the first wireless protocol.

User-configurable sensor platform

A power connector includes a first printed circuit board (PCB) to connect to a plurality of power cables and receive power from the plurality of power cables. The power connector also includes a plug, which is electrically connected to the first PCB, to connect to a graphics card and provide the power to the graphics card. The power connector may further include a second PCB electrically connected between the first PCB and the plug, a casing to house the first PCB and/or the second PCB, and/or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to be illuminated during operation of the graphics card.

Graphics-card power connector

A prescription management system receives prescription information and manages containers filled with the prescription. The prescription is stored in the container and the container is attached to a tracking device storing prescription information. The tracking device is managed by the prescription management system. The tracking device is self-powered and activates an indicator when it receives a request from the prescription management system identifying the tracking device. The indicator permits a user, such as a pharmacist, to locate a desired prescription.

Package locating system

A leak detector is disclosed. The optical leak detector may include a sensor module for transmitting and receiving signals corresponding to the surface level of a monitored fluid and include leak detection logic for detecting a leak signature. The leak detection logic may be configured to determine if fluid contained in a tank is in a non-full state outside of a normal state and activate an alarm.

Method and apparatus for leak detection

Power tool includes a movable blade and a detection system for detecting contact between the blade and an object. Detection system includes an excitation plate capacitively coupling the drive signal to the movable blade. A circuit generates an in-phase component signal and a quadrature component signal from a blade current signal indicative of the instantaneous current drawn by the movable blade and calculates an energy of the blade current signal considering the in-phase and the quadrature components. The circuit compares the energy of the blade current signal to an adaptive trigger threshold to detect contact between the blade and the object based on whether the energy of the blade current signal is greater than the adaptive trigger threshold.

Detection system for power tool

A system is disclosed that extracts bodily fluid to a reaction chamber for monitoring a substance or property of the patient fluid. In one embodiment, a pump is used to advance the sample of bodily fluid through a filter to produce a filtrate. Another pump advances filtrate into the reaction chamber, while another pump advances reactant into the reaction chamber. A sensor in communication with the reaction chamber determines a concentration of nitric oxide or one of its metabolic products. Methods are also disclosed.

Sensors for detecting substances indicative of stroke, ischemia, infection or inflammation

A sensor is disclosed, for implantation within a blood vessel to monitor a substance in or property of blood. In one embodiment, the sensor detects nitric oxide or a nitric oxide metabolite. In another embodiment, other substances such as glutamate, aspartate, arginine, citrulline, acetylcholine, calcium, potassium, or dopamine are monitored. The sensor may be attached to a support structure such as a stent, guidewire, or catheter. In a further embodiment, a catheter is disclosed that extracts patient fluid to a sensor outside the body for monitoring a substance or property of the patient fluid. Methods are also disclosed.

Sensors for detecting substances indicative of stroke, ischemia, or myocardial infarction

A sensor is disclosed, for implantation within a blood vessel to monitor a substance in or property of blood. In one embodiment, the sensor is retrievable. In another embodiment, the sensor has a layer that minimizes the formation of thrombus. A signal representative of the substance in or property of blood is transmitted to an external receiver. In another embodiment, the sensor detects nitric oxide or a nitric oxide metabolite and can be implanted for a period of hours, days, weeks or years. Methods are also disclosed.

Implantable, retrievable, thrombus minimizing sensors

A sensor is disclosed, for implantation within a blood vessel to monitor an analyte in blood. In one embodiment, the sensor is retrievable. In another embodiment, the sensor is an immunosensor. A signal representative of a reaction between an analyte and an antigen of the analyte is transmitted to an external receiver. Methods are also disclosed.
