A headband cushion cover for installation on a headphone assembly is provided. The headband cushion cover includes an elongated foam member, an elongated rear flap, an inner edge of the rear flap foldably attached along a first edge of the elongated foam member; and an elongated front flap, an inner edge of the front flap foldably attached along a second edge of the elongated foam member, wherein each of the front and rear flaps snaps between two opposite arched positions when folded along the respective inner edges of the front and rear flaps, and wherein the headband cushion cover is designed to cover an arched portion of the headband.

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a headphone assembly having a customizable ear cups. Specifically, a user may customize an outer surface of an ear cup assembly by selecting one or more of color to be illuminated on the outer surface and an insert. The insert further diffuses the illuminate light. A trim ring that secures the insert is configured to overlay the lightpipe and a portion of an ear cup subassembly regardless of the presence of the insert.

A speaker includes a housing; an electroacoustic driver secured to the housing, and an element that is secured to a movable portion of the driver. The element is accessible from outside of the housing and is capable of having an object secured to the element. When the driver is operated in a first mode in a first frequency band, motion is imparted through the element to the object.

In one aspect, a speaker kit includes a first portion of a speaker housing, and an electroacoustic driver that can be secured to the housing first portion. The kit has one or more additional portions of the speaker housing. One of the one or more additional housing portions has at least one electrical component secured thereto. The kit also has one or more mechanisms that can be used to hold the housing portions together such that the housing portions form an acoustic seal that encompasses an acoustic volume. The one or more mechanisms are removable from the housing portions such that the housing portions can be moved away from each other without damage to the housing portions or the one or more mechanisms.

An assembly for physically securing, and providing data and power to, a portable electronic consumer product that has opposed sides that each include one or more protrusions or depressions, where the portable electronic consumer product also has an electrical power input connector and a data input connector. The assembly has first and second separate housing portions that are constructed and arranged to be separably coupled together to thereby define a housing. The first and second housing portions each define one or more protrusions or depressions that complement the depressions or protrusions on a side of the portable electronic consumer product such that the housing forms a tight locational clearance fit with the consumer product when the first and second housing portions are coupled together around the opposed sides of the consumer product. There is a cord assembly that is constructed and arranged to carry electrical power and data, the cord assembly located in part inside the housing. There is a housing power connector that terminates the power carried by the cord assembly, and a housing data connector that terminates the data carried by the cord assembly; these connectors are both carried by the housing.

A speaker includes a housing and four substantially similar electro-acoustic drivers secured inside the housing. The drivers are driven by substantially the same audio signal and are arranged such that the net mechanical vibrational force between the drivers and the housing is substantially zero. Four substantially similar passive radiators are secured inside the housing and driven by acoustic energy from the four drivers. The passive radiators are arranged such that the net mechanical vibrational force between the passive radiators and the housing is substantially zero.
