A laser device comprises a first optical cavity comprising a first gain medium and a second optical cavity comprising a second gain medium. The first gain medium and the second gain medium generate light at respective different ranges of wavelengths. A synchronizer is optically coupled to both the first optical cavity and the second optical cavity and is configured to synchronize and mode-lock light from the first optical cavity and the second optical cavity. The laser device also includes a first optical filter and a second optical filter to filter the light from the first optical cavity and the second optical cavity respectively to output first filtered light pulses at a first predetermined range of wavelengths and second filtered light pulses at a second predetermined range of wavelengths.

A Fourier-transform hyperspectral imaging system may include an optical imaging system configured to produce an image of an object, and an adjustable birefringent common-path interferometer module comprising a movable birefringent element and configured to produce interfering replicas of an input radiation which are delayed from each other by a phase delay adjustable by the moving birefringent element. The interferometer module may be configured to produce collinear replicas for entering optical rays parallel to said optical axis. The hyperspectral imaging system further comprises a two-dimensional light detector configured to receive the replicas and provide digital images of the object depending on said adjustable phase delay. The system also includes an analysis device configured to perform a Fourier Transform of the digital images to obtain a hyperspectral representation of the object.

A measurement system of photoluminescence properties of a sample, comprises a radiation source module configured to generate a first radiation, an excitation optical path coupled to the radiation source module, a support structured to support a sample to be optically coupled to excitation optical path and adapted to provide a photoluminescence radiation, and collection path coupled to the sample and configured to propagate the photoluminescence radiation. The system also includes an analysis device configured to receive the photoluminescence radiation and provide data/information on photoluminescence properties of sample. At least one path between the excitation path and the collection path comprises a respective adjustable birefringent common-path interferometer module configured to produce first and second radiations adapted to interfere with each other.
